Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell

Well, I usually try not to read books. After seeing what some of you people blurt on the OWF, I'm terrified to read. But, when I have read it's always been fantasy, I just love the ideas of it. Anyway, my teacher assigned us to read a non-fiction book. After doing some googling of some of the books he told us about, I decided to get Outliers. So far, I've fallen in love with it but, I have to put it down so I can read it in class(which kinda sucks). It's just an interesting concept and if you haven't read it then please do. And to those of you who have, what are your thoughts? Have you read any other Gladwell novels that you would recommend (Going to get Blink and Tipping Point some point in the near future)?

I've read Outliers, haven't looked at Blink or Tipping Point. It was an excellent book. The 10,000 hour rule is both interesting and depressing, as it throws into sharp relief how far behind I am in certain areas. It certainly gives perspective on how much socio-cultural factors influence our development and future. However, while I am almost the perfect age to be a baseball player, I was always mediocre at best and got cut from JV high school baseball...I've never gotten over it :(

Done with 1/3 of the book and it's great. The only problem is, this is supposed to last me another month :v

I was always terrible with reading assignments in high school. I'd either not do them or read the book we were spending two weeks on in about three days.
