Over the years here on Planet Bob, we've had some pretty smexy blocs. One Vision, BLEU, PWNAGE, Teen Titans, Contiunuum, and many others.

Now we have ones such as the Chestnut Accords, NOIR, Complaints and Grievances Union, and quite a few others.

One we may have forgotten about was Bastion. I'm calling this, Bastion 2.0. Random Insanity Alliance (the apparent founders of this here shindig) put together a bloc of alliances from all over the globe, banding together in unity, strength, peace, all that stuff. Official members now include:

Random Insanity Alliance (they just turned 4 by the way), The Order of the Paradox, Umbrella, IRON, Mushroom Kingdom, Valhalla, \m/, iFOK, TOOL, and Rubber Ducky Division.

Bastion is an MDP bloc dedicated to "include alliances from all corners of Planet Bob in an attempt to tie these political spheres together in a way that will make major conflicts a thing of the past." Very interesting concept, and one that isn't tried often (most stay within one color sphere and have a very limited acceptance).

My thoughts? I don't think it'll work. At least, the goal they've stated is unachievable.

I don't think the trading/ political spheres will ever be united and it needs to stay that way. NPO rules red, NpO rules blue, Sparta rules black, etc. etc. Conflicts and domination are necessary for the game to survive. Without them, it becomes boring.

Yeah, its all fun running a nation, growing, and mingling with alliances. But whats the point if its just a Peace and Love Train all the time (you see what I did there)? It'll just turn into a certain "NS" game we don't talk about around here. It's a great looking bloc with some strong alliances, but I don't think it'll ever work.

---

Another major event took place today: Invicta and NAC moved from purple to red. Apparently, they are NPO tools (according to Mr. Damsky among others). I am obliged to agree...there really is no reason for the move. Apparently its all part of their "journey".

Let me know your thoughts on whats happening.

(tl;dr: Bastion is all new with some BA alliances including RIA, MK, \m/, and some others. Invicta and NAC are tools of NPO)

Bastion is not an actual bloc, it's yet another pathetically sad attempt at engineering fake drama in the absence of anything actually happening in the game. Just so you know.

Well that clears things up. Thanks for the inside info ;)

Don't listen to them, Bastion is a fully armed and operational MDP bloc.

I'd go so far to say that it's actually an MADP that says after being in the bloc for 4 months you have to merge together emot-v.gif

Then it is like a bloc that's only been partially built, so it's got the !@#$@#$ huge laser beam but is missing all the office space around the poles.

you should have really put some research into Bastion (maybe actually have read the op of that thread) before you jumped to conclusions and assumed it was in the same foot-steps as the first one. While apparently a legitimate bloc, its a pretty fake and has no real provisions.

Edit: Moving teams isn't always being a tool. Many many alliances have moved from one team to another, and all for different reasons and different motivations.

According to RIA, it is in the footsteps of Bastion 1.0. They still claim to be an MDP, whether we take them seriously or not.

In this case, its pretty much being a tool.

I like your alabaster skin. That's really about all I had to say.

Why thank you. I learned that upclose flash pictures= fail, but this is the only one I had where I looked like a cool bad@$$ nerd, yet was secretly evil.
