Great game; I'm not terribly good at it, unfortunately. Are you playing on the most recent incarnation of it? I had a weird glitch where a titan attacked, but couldn't get in, so a band of goblin crossbowmen killed it instead.

I'm still using 40d, I tried the 31.08 but it was slow at the menu so I stuck with the oldie. I got lagged to death recently by a dragon that lit my Heavily Wooded embark on fire.

It's usually a race between the goblins and the fps for who will kill my fort first.

DF is awesome. There have been some great LP's done on SA for that game. Hell, that's how I met Ktarthan.

Yep, Boatmurdered was the first DF LP that really took off, if I remember correctly.

Rhesuses used to bug me until I put a point or two of Axedwarf into my Woodcutter. It's fun watching them fly after s/he enters a Martial Trance. Carp, on the other hand, scare me to death.

Carp are the worst.
