Militairy Seizes Control of Pulaski
3/25/10 By: Jack Munson
Citizens of the city of Pulaski woke to the joyful ringing of church bells this morning as they found their city free of Raider terror. Members of the 21 Military Ground Division made the push last night to free the city, fearing continued Raider attacks on the Echo Lake Watch Station. While the attack was highly successful, culminating with almost 30 Rangers Dead at the loss of only 2 soldiers, freedom came at a price. Many civilians missing and many pronex buildings destroyed or heavily damaged. As a result of increased Raider activity on the southern border, Consul Smith is expected to hold a conference with his Chief of Military operations, Frederick Suk, to discuss possible ways to end the violence there, but now that seems unlikely. Commander Suk wrote to us from the southern front saying "The recent crisis here requires my full attention at the moment, however I will be meeting with Consul Smith at a later date to discuss our growing problem with the Raiders. In regard to future operations here, all I can say is that we can not rest, and we will be apprehending the Raiders very soon." It is believed that the Raiders retreated into the Green Acres area, which will cause a severe risk to Ground personnel, because it is the high ground, and they will have to act quickly because the Raiders could have reinforcements in less than 3 days. We'll keep you updated as this story continues to develop. With ENN News, I'm Jack Munson.
