On Hegemony

Wait to call us the Hegemony when we grind someone into nothingness and prevent them from ever becoming successful again. Until we hit that point, please take into consideration that wanting to win a war is not the same as wanting to destroy someone. Clear and decisive victory is all we seek.

Yes, this is a short post, but, to be honest, it shouldn't have to be said.

people within MK have publicly stated that's what they're going to do.. to fight TOP and IRON until they're no longer a threat to CnG. You can see why people make that comparison, can't you?

Not that I am MK any longer, but did Archon say it?

I believe he did actually, in his long-winded, "I'm so important, listen to me!" speech he gave on the owf.

What he said was "We will not give them white peace." That does not equate to "We will end all possibility of them ever being a threat to us again."

I am not privy to the talks that went on during that negotiation, but I am will venture a guess that my direct allies did not ask for that term. Those that did should be absolutely ashamed and I will publicly stand opposed to anyone who does it this time around.

Oh god.

No, just no. Trust me I know all about the "OH WE DIDN'T ASK FOR IT DON'T BLAME US" argument. It doesn't work. If your name is on the document then you're at fault. No excuses.

My name isn't on the document, and for good reason.

There are arguments to be made against your statement, but without the facts on what went on in those negotiations, I don't want to come across as ignorant. If/when I get them, I'll be sure to respond.

1. Good I can respect you for that. However this isn't about you. In your original post you distinctly said "us".

2. I'll be waiting. Shouldn't be to hard just ask Londo.
