Astronaut Jones hates you all part 2.
It's not weakness to show a little compassion for your fellow man. There's no reason why you should feel compelled to disregard the feelings of others in order to further your own goals. You can play the type of character you want to play, your alliance can be as sovereign as the next alliance, without resorting to being an outright !@#$ stain on the face of planet bob in the process.
We're all trying to do our own thing, and that's fine, that's what we all should be doing. I'm out for numero uno more than most, I feel an alliance serves it's members a hell of a lot more than it's members serve it, but along the way I didn't lose my sense of right and wrong. If something feels wrong, if it seems like a stupid idea, if it may $%&@ with people unnecessarily, or if in doing so you may end up !@#$@#$ people over with or without malice, then stop. Don't do it. We all have a conscience, we all know right from wrong, and whether or not you want to believe it, we owe it to each other to make this place as fun and enjoyable for everyone, not just you, not just me, and not just our own circle of friends. Think of others for once.
To those who think you have free reign to do as you please, let it be known that you're not bad. You're not hardcore. You're not a gangster. You don't have to !@#$ all over people in the name of having fun your way, and you certainly don't need to be a whiny $%&@ when people get fed up because you didn't think your cunning plan through.
To those who think they have it on good moral authority to dictate the behaviour of others, who the $%&@ are you to say who can and cannot do something? Your attitudes lead to an equal and opposite counter attitude. You create that which you seemingly despise, more so than they do. You don't control the world. You can't control the world. Moderate your behaviour and others will follow suit.
Think of others for once.
I still hate you all.
