Me for future GPA president?

I'm not a pretender, nor am I an heir. I am a candidate, the only candidate. And I will lead the future of the free world (lolwut) to greatness. Vote yes if you're down.

The American Revolution (to me)

For all the antagonistic behavior many of you have seen me exhibit about the West, I actually do appreciate the American Revolution. To me the American Revolution isn't a cookie cuttered story, it's layered and if you don't dig into the Revolution itself you'll always develop your ideas of what the Revolution was in a very skewed manner. The Revolution, in essence, was founded by the people themselves. Not a few men like Jefferson and Washington but the people who desired change from what was p

What Penkala doesn't get:

Since he seems so intent on using Christ's name, in vain albeit, then he should know this Bible verse: "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? Matthew 7:3 It's Sunday so quite fitting, I have Church soon anyways. Have a wonderful rest of the night.

Why I don't Celebrate Thanksgiving

Perhaps I'm fickle, perhaps I am offensive but I will never celebrate something I do not approve of. The true first origins of Thanksgiving was handed down by the Crusades for Christ. The ensuing struggle pitted Muslims and Christians at war with one another, I am Christian by the way, yet I do not approve of the Crusades and the slaughter of many. When Jerusalem feel Pope Urban proclaimed the day of thanks, the very first true origin of Thanksgiving throughout Christian Europe. In November 2

Egypt Defeats Australia 3-0

Much is said about Egypt's national team and often it's either to scold us for not being as good as them, like Europeans often do, or to hold us in contempt for not accomplishing all that we can. I was at work today but we fielded an experimental team with 7 younger players whereas Australia fielded a very solid team. After very disappointed results, 1-1 draw to Sierre Leone at home and a 1-0 loss to Niger in Niamey, it appears the old guard in Egypt is done. Familiars to many of you Europeans l

New Desktop

I bought a new gaming desktop. Woooow... the difference it makes. I play everything on high resolution, I can now play Mass Effect for the longest time and Napoleon Total War is 1000x better than it was on my laptop. The realism is astounding, and not to sound cliche but it really does feel like a different game. I ran amok on IRC that night I was finding a new gaming PC. Being computer illiterate, I just bought a cheap one thinking it was adequate than found it, it really sucked. Joracy reall

Don't give up on society...

This day many years ago, when I first starting out in university, marked a very important day for me that I will never forget. Before I begin this isn't a lecture nor is it here to teach a lesson since I'm no person to discuss morals with others but what I do have is a story. Many years ago I was in calculus, I personally, felt the class was very easy. Perhaps it was just me. Now we all know those in class that will go through any means necessary to find every way possible to get as many points
