Last night was my friend Erik's birthday and a bunch of us were with him to celebrate. There was a particular person there whose name is Ian. My family was one of those that went around the table on Thanksgiving Day and everyone would say what they are thankful for. Pretty cliche. So Thanksgiving being tomorrow, what are you thankful for?

I just watched a clip from Jon Stewart on "The Daily Show" about John McCain's stance on the possible repeal of D.A.D.T. and I have to say that it was fairly devastating.

-I worked all day Friday. I was there eleven and a half hours, and it was incredibly annoying.

The best costumes that I saw this weekend were (in no particular order):
-Little kid as a UPS guy. He was adorable.
-Brawny Man. I didn't get it until I saw him holding a roll of paper towels.
-The Mad Hatter, huge hat and all.
-Flapper girl. There were actually 2, but one was especially good. The '20s were the best fashion decade.
-Catholic priest. All he really needed to finish the costume was a little kid to abuse.

Brett Favre came into the stadium to a course of boos...again. Ironic because as I was watching this Sunday night, the camera went over to someone holding a sign that said something to the tune of "4ever Favre." This was one of those games that had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I'm no recapper, so I won't try to go into all of the things that made me cheer or through stuff at my television. Green Bay played at Washington this past Sunday. It was awful in so many ways.
First and foremost, there was the loss in and of itself that Green Bay suffered. I know too many people who are fans of the Redskins for that to have happened without taking some crap from these people (at least some of whom were at FedEx Field).
Second, injuries galore. Finley (knee) is out for the season. Rodgers (concussion) may not play next week. Matthews (hamstring) was a bit tight but it wasn't deemed serious
