That Trotskie fellow of the ENNPEEOOO is probably one of the dullest global despots around. The best that fellow has is some lame brain thread about a rip off of Toy R' Us with a crappy looking flag. Share it around a bit and examine the leaders of most major alliances. They are just flat out boring.

this one will be a quick one - but with a request, a serious request.
Over the last weeks and months I have noticed more and more people contacting me (via IRC, PM or even ingame) and sending me suggestions, concepts and idas. And then they asked me if I could not go suggesting them for them, because they felt that I somehow have magical influence on the admin, or that stuff just "looks better" just because I post it.
That is not the case. Please stop doing it.

Yet too many alliances let the treaty form dictate the relationship instead of dictating the relationship to the treaty.

It appears that, for the most part, there are the following basic forms of treaties that I would say 90% of alliances use in pretty much the same basic format:

So what's wrong with the above? In my opinion, it tends to lead most alliances into basing their relationship with

A big problem that Cybernations has is it's unappealing look. I showed the game to a teacher of mine and she commented on how overly official and bland it was -- the game came across as more of a business than an actual game. The fact is, as much as we pride ourselves as thinking there is serious business in Cybernations it still remains a game.

1 Tile "cost" 10 infrastructure and 20 units of land, in the initial idea, it will most likely change. For every 10 levels of infrastructure and 20 miles of land you unlock 1 Tile.
Tiles are used to designate zones and buildings. There are industrial zones, agrarian zones, commercial zones, and residential zones. Zones are initially free.

Charters, at their core, are rulebooks. They should describe how the alliance is run. They don't need to be fancy. They don't need to as dry as a desert (few people take this extreme. I'm one of them). However, there is some very basic stuff that should be included in a charter.
