Qaianna
Yeah, well coming from another Lead and Silver junky, I think we've got it pretty bad. The best thing I've come up with is Steel, Beer, Construction and Scholars with Fish, Cattle and Uranium bonuses. I am curious if that is THE best a Lead and Silver man like me can get? I managed to cobble together AP/FJ/Microchips with my lead/silver. Now I'm in a more static ring, with less microchips and more fast food. I'd say the first is more one that you can easily slot into with both resources, although once my trade partners start growing they'll enjoy the benefits of genuine II lead Besides, this speeds up service in the restaurants, since we don't have to wait for the cows and pigs to die of old age.. lonewolfe2015
I actually don't have those trades, that was what I assumed was my best possible option. I hold right now... A Radiation Kit package (those 5 resources) with Fish, Uranium and Wheat... Its sad.
enderland
Radiation cleanup basically sucks :\ You'd be far better off with what Qaianna suggests, and temp trading to purchase infra.
lonewolfe2015
Yeah, I know my circle sucks, but it was a circle until someone dropped out (can't blame em) so I need to reorganize now anyways. I think I am going to try my luck with the Steel, Construction, Beer and Scholars one. I don't have the time to properly conduct a temp trade circle to be honest, and if it ever blew up I'd be left hung out to dry.

Taishaku
Wait until the next big warI get the feeling Rad Clean-up will suddenly become very popular Assuming you're already using an Asphalt build. Otherwise you might as well mass Population Boosters.

enderland
The 8BR trade circle is quite poor, by the way, aim for the 3BR or 5BR.
Taishaku
"The 8BR trade circle is quite poor, by the way, aim for the 3BR or 5BR." Agreed, 1 BR with the population boosters and infrastructure reducers is better. Remember, the number of BRs is not important. The bonuses they give are. I would say the best non-swapping tradeset is: Fish Cattle Pigs Sugar Wheat Uranium/Water Nothing/*Beer Aluminum Lumber Iron Marble *Construction Oil Rubber *Asphalt Infrastructure Purchase Cost: -36% Infrastructure Upkeep Cost: -23/26% Number of Citizens: +27.5% Citizen Daily Income: +3/7.5 Population Happiness: +5.5/2.5 Technology Cost: -0% Environment: +2 Land Purchase Cost: -25% Purchased Land Area: +20% No Fast Food because the happiness bonus from it and Spices are inferior to the infra-reducing power of Rubber, Oil, and Asphalt. Beer is optional too, depending on if you have enough Land to not need Water. Edited April 26, 2009 by Taishaku
