      Cyber Nations Forum Rules   07/03/2016

        Cyber Nations Forum Rules
In the process of registering on this forum, all players--including you--agreed to accept these terms and conditions and the terms and conditions of Invision Power Board. In doing so you essentially signed an electronic contract pledging to have read the rules and TOS and agreeing to follow the rules and TOS as written. It is your continued responsibility to read, follow, and keep up-to-date with the CN rules.
The following are basic guidelines for use of the Cyber Nations community forum. Anyone caught disobeying these guidelines will be issued a warning. The forum staff works on a five warn limit policy unless the situation calls for more appropriate action ranging from a verbal warning to a double warn and suspension to an immediate ban, etc.   Just because something is not listed specifically here as illegal does not mean it's allowed. All players are expected to use common sense and are personally responsible for reading the pinned threads found in the Moderation forum. Questions regarding appropriateness or other concerns can be sent via PM to an appropriate moderator.   A permanent ban on the forums results in a game ban, and vice versa. Please note that the in-game warn system works on a "three strikes you're out" policy and that in-game actions (including warnings and deletions) may not be appealed. For more information regarding in-game rules please read the Cyber Nations Game Rules.   1.) First Warning
      2.) Second Warning
3.) Third Warning (48 hour suspension at the forum)
4.) Fourth Warning (120 hour suspension at the forum)
5.) Permanent Ban   Game Bans and Forum Bans
If you receive a 100% warn level on the forums, you will be subject to removal from the forums AND have your nation deleted and banned from the game at moderator(s) discretion.   If you are banned in the game, then you will be banned from the forums.   Process of Appeals
Players may not appeal any in-game actions. This includes cheat flags, canceled trades, content removals, warn level increases, nation deletion, and bans from the game.   Players may appeal individual forum warnings. You may only appeal a warning if you can show with evidence that it was unwarranted or unduly harsh. If a reasonable amount of time has passed (no less than one month and preferably longer) in which you have demonstrated reformed behavior than you may request a warning level reduction. Wasting staff time with inappropriately filed reports and/or unfounded appeals will result in a warn level raise. Repeat incidences will result in a ban from the forum.   Bans are permanent. Banned players may appeal to the Senior Staff if they believe grounds exist (very, very rare) in which they state their case with evidence and why explain why they believe they deserve to be allowed back into Cyber Nations. This process is not quick and the investigation into cases may last three minutes or three weeks or more depending on the individual situation.   The only place where discussion of moderator action is acceptable is in the appropriate Moderation forum. Posting commentary on or disagreement with moderator action elsewhere will result in a warn level raise.   Posting
All posts must be in English. Common phrases in other languages will be allowed so long as they are translated upon request. Foreign languages are permitted in signatures and avatars, however.   Certain areas of the forum require you to have a nation in either standard CN or CN:TE. If you have...   A SE and a TE nation: You get one forum account. Your forum account name must match your SE nation or ruler name. You are allowed to post in either SE or TE areas of the forum. You must have your CN:TE nation name listed in your profile to post in the CN:TE section of the forum.
Just an SE nation: You get one forum account. Your forum account name must match your SE nation or ruler name. You are not allowed to post in any TE areas of the forum.
Just a TE nation: You get one forum account. Your forum account name must match your TE nation name or ruler name. Your must have your CN:TE nation name listed correctly in your profile. You are not allowed to post in any of the SE areas. You are allowed to post in the water cooler, question center and the moderation forums. Other than that, all your posts need to stay in the TE area.   Flame/Flamebait/Trolling
Flaming is expressing anger or lobbing insults at a person/player rather than a character, post, idea, etc. Flamebait are posts that are made with the aim of targeting/harassing/provoking another user into rule-breaking. Trolling is submitting posts with the aim of targeting/harassing/provoking a specific group into rule-breaking. Forum users should not be participating in any of these, and doing so will result in a warning.   Topic Hijacking
Hijacking is forcing the current thread discussion off of the original topic and usually results in spam or flame from either side. Forum users found hijacking threads will be given a warning.   Repeat Topics
One topic is enough. Repeat topics will be locked, removed, and the author given a warning. Users found creating repeat topics after others were locked by staff will receive a warn raise.   Joke Topics
Topics created as a joke are prohibited. Joke topics will be locked and the author warned. This includes topics in which the author is making an announcement “for” another in-game alliance. Humorous threads are permitted; it is up to the discretion of the moderation staff to determine what is merely satire and what is actually a joke topic.   Spam
Spam is defined as creating posts or topics containing only contentless material of any kind. Users found spamming will receive a warning. Examples include (but are in no way limited to) posts containing nothing but smilies, "+1", "QFT", "this" any other one/few-word contentless combination, joke threads, or posts containing quotes and anything that counts as spam by itself. Adding words to a post with the express intent of avoiding a spam warn will result in a warning. These posts and other similar contributions have no substance and hence are considered spam. Posts of "Ave", "Hail" or any other one word congratulatory type are acceptable as one word posts. Emoticon type posts such as "o/" without accompanying text is still not allowed. Posts containing only images are considered spam, unless the image is being used in the Alliance Politics sub-forum and then the actual text of the image be placed into spoiler tags.   Posting in All Caps
Posting large amounts of text in capital letters is not permitted. Use discretion when using your caps lock key.   No Discussion Forums
There are forums that are not for discussion and are used strictly for game and forum staff to address certain issues, bugs, etc. The following forums are not open to discussion: Report Game Abuse, Report Forum Abuse, and Warn/Ban Appeals. Only moderators and the original poster may post in a thread, period, with absolutely no exceptions. Users found disobeying this guideline will receive an automatic warning for each offense.   Moderation Forums
All Moderation forums also maintain pinned threads clearly marked as required reading before posting. Failure to read and follow required reading and procedure in a Moderation forum will result in a warning. Examples include posting requests in the wrong forum, failure to include all required information in posts, etc. The standard of conduct and enforcement of rules in Moderation forums is strictly enforced and the repercussions for disregarding rules or disrespecting staff are harsh. Read the pinned threads before posting and you will be fine.   Namecalling
Excessive or unqualified namecalling is not allowed in IC forums; namecalling should also never make up the bulk of a post. Namecalling is prohibited entirely in all OOC forums.   Filtered Words
Any attempts to evade the word filter will result in a warning. The terms we have filtered are filtered for a reason and no excuse for evasion will be accepted. Filter evasion includes censoring or deliberately misspelling part of a filtered word.   If you link to a website, image, video, etc., containing profanity, please post a disclaimer before the link. The moderation staff may still remove links if the content is deemed too obscene.   Harassment
Forum users should not be stalking/harassing others on the forums. Anyone found stalking players from topic to topic, etc., will be subject to a warning.   Gravedigging
Gravedigging is not allowed anywhere on the forums. Gravedigging is "bumping" old topics which haven't been active for quite some time (four to seven days is standard depending on the nature of the thread and how many pages back it had been pushed before bump). Your warn level will be raised if you are caught doing this.   The Suggestion Box and Black Market forums are partial exceptions to this rule. Suggestions/ideas in that forum may be posted in regardless of age PROVIDING that the reviving post contains constructive, on-topic input to the original topic or discussion. Black Market threads may be bumped by the author if there is new information about the offered exchange (i.e open aid slots). In the Player Created Alliances forum it will not be considered gravedigging to bump a topic up to a year old, so long as the alliance in question still exists and it is not a duplicate thread.   Signatures
Those who fail to read and abide by these rules will have their signatures removed and receive a warning.   You may have only one image per signature which may not exceed the maximum size of 450 pixels wide by 150 pixels tall. You may have no more than 8 lines of text and text size cannot exceed size 4. Each quote-tag, image and empty line count as a line.   Inappropriate Images and Other Disallowed Images
Images that are sexual in nature or have sexual overtones are prohibited. It is up to the discretion of the moderation staff to determine what constitutes sexual overtones. Depictions of kissing are permissible provided there are no sexual implications. Images depicting female nipples are prohibited outright.   Making “ASCII art” is prohibited regardless of the image depicted.   Using photos or likenesses of another Cyber Nations player is also prohibited.   Drug References
Images and posts promoting illegal drug use are prohibited. References to drugs are acceptable only if the moderation staff deems that it is not promoting the use thereof.   Obscene Content and/or "Account Suicide"
Anyone caught posting vulgar material (including but in no way limited to pornography, "gross," "tubgirl," "lemonparty," photos depicting RL illegal acts such as violence towards humans or animals, child pornography, death photos, and any other obscene or offensive material in either text form or picture form) will have their account(s) permanently banned, and their ISP contacted along with any other applicable internet and RL authorities.   OOC Threats / Revealing Personal Information
An OOC threat of any nature will equate to an automatic ban from the game and forums. Likewise, the publishing of personal information of any other player without their explicit permission is grounds for warning and/or a ban from the game depending on the severity of the offense.   Death Threats / Death Wishes
A death threat or a death wish of any nature (including but not limited to telling another player to commit suicide) will result in at very least a 40% warn level increase and 2 day suspension from the forums, with harsher punishments, including a complete ban from the forums and game, up to the discretion of the moderation staff.   Quoting Rulebreaking Posts
Do not quote any post with obscene content or any other content that has to be removed by the moderation staff. Doing so makes it more difficult for the moderation staff to find and remove all such content and will result in a warn level increase. Putting rulebreaking posts of any kind in your signature is prohibited.   Forum Names
With the exception of moderator accounts, all forum accounts must match up exactly with the ruler name or nation name of your in-game country. Those found not matching up will be warned and banned immediately. Forum account names may not be profane or offensive.   Multiple Forum Accounts
With the exception of moderators, if you are caught with multiple forum accounts, the multiple account(s) will be banned, warn level raised, and your identity will be announced by a moderator to the CN community so rule-abiding players can take IC action against you. Multiple forum account offenders will receive a varying percentage warn level raise and/or a permanent ban on a case-by-case basis.   Posting For Other Players
Posting for banned or suspended players is prohibited, as is posting for any person without a nation. This includes making warn and ban appeals on their behalf.   Imitation &. Impersonation
Imitation in terms of this forum is mimicking the posting, avatar, or signature styles of another user in an attempt to be satirical or generally humorous. Impersonation in terms of this forum is copying the posting, avatar, or signature styles of another user in order to present the illusion that the person is in fact that user. Imitation is fine and can be quite funny. Impersonation is disruptive and is warnable. Please pay attention to the subtle difference between these two concepts.   A player may not impersonate another player by emulating the characteristics of someone else's past or present account in an attempt to harass, stalk, or flamebait. Creating a new forum account in an attempt to impersonate a standing account will result in deletion and banning without notice.   Any attempt at imitation and/or impersonation of moderators and game staff is strictly prohibited and will be met with harsh repercussions.   Avatars
Size for avatars is limited by the forum mechanics, therefore there is no size issue for a user to worry about. Avatars must be in good taste, and any avatar containing a picture that is too violent, disgusting, sexually explicit, insulting to another player or staff member, etc. will be removed. Avatars that are potentially seizure inducing will not be permitted. Players may not "borrow" the avatars of any moderator past or present without permission.   Swastikas and Nazi Imagery
The swastika may not be used in signatures or avatars. Pictures of swastika's are acceptable for use in the In Character (IC) sections of the roleplay forums, so long as its context is In Character, and not Out Of Character. Pictures of Hitler, mentioning of the Holocaust, etc... have no place in the roleplay forums, since these people and events existed in real life, and have no bearing or place in the Cyberverse. Other Nazi or SS imagery is forbidden in all forums.   Moderation Staff
The revealing of the private identities of any Cyber Nations staffers past or present is strictly prohibited, and thus no speculation/accusation of identity is allowed. Doing so is grounds for moderator action against your account appropriate to the offense, including a full forum/game ban.   Claims of moderator bias should be directed to the highest level of authority--the Head Game & Forum Mod/Admin, Keelah. Claims of moderator bias without supporting evidence is grounds for a warning.   Blatant disrespect of the moderator staff is strictly prohibited. This includes but is not limited to spoofing moderator accounts in any way, sig/avatar references, baiting, flaming, rude demands, mocking, attitude, and unsubstantiated claims of bias. They are volunteers hired to enforce the rules. If you have a problem with the way a moderator is enforcing the rules or the rules themselves please contact Keelah.   Attempting to use the moderation staff as a weapon by abusing the report system in an attempt to get another player warned or banned is strictly prohibited.   Do not ask about becoming or campaign to become a moderator. The moderators are drawn from CN membership but moderation positions are by invitation only. Asking to become one will substantially decrease your chances of ever being asked.   Aiding Rule Violators
Any user found to know of a serious rule violation without reporting it to a game moderator (eg. knowledge of a user with multiple nations) will be given a warning or, in more serious cases, have their nation deleted.   Aiding Banned Players
Any user found to be harboring, aiding or otherwise knowingly helping a banned user will be deleted. This includes knowing of their existence within the game without reporting it to the game-moderation staff.   Questionable Actions and Content
The forum rules are not designed to cover every scenario. Any action that is seen to be counter-productive or harmful to the forum community may be met with moderator action against your account. The Cyber Nations Moderation Staff reserves the right to take action against your account without warning for any reason at any time.   Private Transactions
Nation selling and other private transactions via such auction sites like eBay is against the Cyber Nations terms and conditions. While our moderators cannot control what people do outside of the game you are not allowed to promote such private exchanges on our forums without expressed permission from admin only. Anyone found to be engaging in such activity without permission will be banned from the game.   Advertising
Advertising other browser games and forums is prohibited. Soliciting donations towards commercial causes is also prohibited. If you wish to ask for donations towards a charitable cause, please contact a moderator before doing so.   Extorting Donations
Donations are excluded from any kind of IC payment. Anyone found extorting others for OOC payments will be warned in-game and/or banned.   Third Party Software
Third party software is not allowed to be advertised on these forums by any means (post, signature, PM, etc). These programs can easily be used to put malware on the user's computer, and as such can cause huge security issues. Anybody who is caught spreading links to these will at the very least have their warning level increased.   Other Forum Terms & Rules   Please take a moment to review these rules detailed below. Operation Sigismund

The forward observers and their sniper crews would be recalled back to Nordisk controlled territory. New orders had been given to the Battle Groups that were deployed there. They were to be withdrawn from Poland and Germany and would be transported through Northlands Territory on their way to join the other troops that were deployed and currently fighting in France.

Österreich

"Is that so?" inquired the General-Major, "Let me personally inform my Kralj of that and he'll put the heat on Hungary-Slovakia to back off from Austria while we move in to defend Vienna from the Belarussian parasites," he snarled before turning back once more, orders being barked in Serbian and not long a soldier gave the General-Major a cell-phone. "Excuse me for a moment," he said as he excused himself to speak with the Kingdom's monarch, Serbian being spoken in a fast pace for a minute or two, General-Major Broz facing the Hauptmann once more as he put the phone in a pocket.

"Our Kralj has sent promise of aid and will send a missive to the Hungarians and Slovaks to cease their shelling of Vienna and to send the same to the Belorussians, although with that one he sincerely doubts they will listen," he finally said before seemingly nodding to himself, "Now, I'll refrain from commenting on the hidden compatriot of yours since we as a whole have bigger fish to fry, we won't need the helicopters that you have but we will make use of ours alongside the Kingdom's air-force to hopefully make anyone else back off with the firepower presented," he told the Hauptmann as in the distance, the air support that had been waiting finally having been called to action.

Südtirol/Trentino

The Kingdom's forces agreed to the meeting, the desire to find out more as to what had happened being almost overwhelming as they went to have a very open and frank discussion with their former allies on what just happened with their former country to collapse in such a sudden manner.

[hr]

For: Hungary-Slovakia

Private

"The Kingdom of Yugoslavia wishes to know as to why our ally in Hungary-Slovakia seemingly is shelling the former capital city of the Kingdom's former ally, Vienna, a city in which two million people with its metropolitan area live in. While Alvonia and the Kingdom had silent relations after the treaty was cancelled, the absurd response by Hungary-Slovakia is criminal and abusive to a city where innocents live in. We request that the military response of Vienna to cease and for Hungary-Slovakia to remove its soldiers while the Kingdom continues to investigate the matter, and once the situation has been calmed down, we can peacefully have Hungary-Slovakia and its troops be included in the investigation on the matter of former Alvonia's completely abrupt collapse.

To that end, we wish for the request to be forward to Belorussia as we do not seek to be fighting them but we will defend the city of Vienna if they continue to be hostile, even in the face of the Kingdom's military."

Respectfully,
Kralj Dragojev Belojevic

Private to Yugoslavia

"All innocents had 4 days notice to evacuate from Vienna before shelling started.  To our knowledge, all that remains in Vienna are insurgents.  However, Hungary and Belarus will back off from shelling on the condition that Hungary-Slovakia and Belarus be able to participate in the ongoing investigations, since Austria is a jointly-administered protectorate between Yugoslavia and Hungary-Slovakia

If Yugoslavia would also be able to broker an end to this conflict, or at least a ceasefire or armistice, with these insurgents , Hungary-Slovakia, and I am sure Belarus, would be most grateful, and more than happy to pull out of Austria.  We would just keep the original 10 to 15 thousand in Austria to help with administering the protectorate and with keeping order and peace."

Casualties caused by the Alvonian artillery fire on Belorussian troops in the minefields would be acceptably low, mainly due to the fact that the number of Belorussian forces in the minefields were relatively low, and the bulk of the Belorussian army was still sitting in the Burgenland, waiting for the Mines to be cleared.

Belorussian forces would quickly return fire from the Burgenland. 150 Akatsiya Self-Propelled Howitzers and 100 2S19 Msta Self-Propelled Howitzer would begin to run counter-artillery operations as best they could, with the help of Belorussian counter-artillery radar. They would also target armored vehicles when possible. These mobile guns would also use shoot-and-scoot tactics to avoid enemy fire. An additional 300 D-30 towed artillery would open fire on any Alvonian positions that were located. These guns would not be able to scoot-and-shoot as easily or as often as the mobile guns, but they would also do their best to avoid enemy fire. The Belorussian Smerch and Grad launchers would also rain fire down on Alvonian positions, while they themselves remained out of the effective range of most Alvonian artillery. Belorussian ground assets would also be moved frequently, so as to avoid enemy fire.

Electronic warfare against the Belorussian units wouldn't be particularly easy, as first the Alvonians would have to find which frequencies the Belorussians were operating on. To make things even more difficult, Belorussian units would be hopping frequencies for their communications. Even if the Alvonians did manage succeed in their communications jamming, it would have little effect, as most Belorussian units were sitting in the Burgenland, which didn't exactly take much coordination. Belorussian R-330B jammers would begin to work to jam Alvonian communications in return.

Belorussian Casualties(For the entire war)

15 Armored Bulldozers

2 MiG-29s

25 T-90 tanks

1,000 soldiers

Hungarian casualties for entire war : 500 soldiers, 14 tanks.

Hungarian efforts to clear the last remaining mines at the border would continue, however, it's tanks, artillery, SCUDs, and cruise missiles would stop.

Long range and mobile SAMs would stay online and alert, in case any enemy jets tried to take advantage of the ceasefire.*

A general public broadcast would then be played.

"Alvonians, we are observing a 24 hour ceasefire. We only wish to help preserve law and order in Austria, we are not attempting to invade or annex.

Cease fire and put away your weapons, and we will immediately and peacefully withdraw, and this needless and pointless war and bloodshed will finally be over. All that will remain will be 15,000 soldiers that will only serve to help administrate and restore order. They will not bother or harm any Alvonian citizens." Edited by Euphaia

Slowly, OKW began to reestablish communication lines, and reports flooded in from the Czech and German states that order had been restored - the Wehrmacht had beaten The Voice's remnants and the Bolsheviks. The matter of where Director Wilding was exactly was still unknown, but one thing could be determined - he was still in Vienna. His secondary bodyguard had not received him at the evacuation point, and all ministers were accounted for excluding him. This was more than welcome news in Vienna, where the Heer had determined itself to dig in and await the incoming blows, but ever mindful of the danger the invaders brought, Head of State Karoline Dressler sent out her own communique to Hungary-Slovakia, Belarus, and Yugoslavia:

"To Belarus, Hungary-Slovakia, and Yugoslavia,

Communication lines have been reestablished and all is under control. Hungary-Slovakia and Belarus are highly encouraged to leave our country and cease fire on all Wehrmacht units, unless you would rather we take this war to your home. Yugoslavian forces are invited to Vienna to assist the Heer in reconstruction activities and policing actions elsewhere in Alvonia.

Furthermore, due to the horrendous actions of Hungary-Slovakia and Belarus in their criminal shelling of the civilian population of Vienna, we ask this of your nations:

- Formal written apologies to our nation, the citizens of Vienna, and the families of all Wehrmacht servicemen and women who lost their lives facing your militaries

- Monetary compensation for all death and destruction to Alvonian people and property, which amounts to $4.5 million Reichsmarks

- The cessation of the Burgenland back to Alvonia by Hungary-Slovakia

- A demilitarized zone 5 km inward of all Alvonian-Hungary-Slovakia/Belarusian territory and protectorates

- Permanent and overriding non-aggression pact which cannot be unilaterally cancelled

These terms are non-negotiable. Rejection of any term will be taken as a rejection of all terms, and will result in a formal state of war between Alvonia, Hungary-Slovakia, and Belarus. Make no mistake on this - we have stalled your forces with only a fraction of our military. We can do far more with the full strength of the Wehrmacht behind our backs. Pick your next move very carefully."

"There is no more Alvonia.  It's government totally collapsed, and all that is left is a mutually-administered protectorate.  There is no longer an Alvonia to even consider giving Burgenland to,

As such, we refuse to negotiate with terrorists or insurgents.   We also remind these terrorists that Burgenland was part of Hungary long before former-Alvonia had stolen it away.

We also remind these terrorists and insurgents that they are the ones that started this war.  As per agreement with our ally Yugoslavia, Austria became a jointly administered protectorate between us.  A minimal amount of Hungarian soldiers peacefully began entering Austria to peacefully help Yugoslavia with the defense and administration and restoration of law and order.

If the insurgents want peace and want us to pull out, we already gave the terms for that, and they were quite lenient:  Cease fire and we will leave.

Now, as for an apology..."

*A list of 500 soldiers killed by insurgents and 50,000 soldiers killed during the last war would be provided.*

"And reparations...."

*A bill for all the damage caused to Hungary-Slovakia by the nukes of former-Alvonia's former ally would also be provided.*

Evidently, the Alvonians had not gotten the postcard. Either that, or they had been unable to read it. Either way, another message needed to be sent.

As things currently stood, there were a total of four Kirov class cruisers and 12 Kolkota class destroyers sitting 100 miles north of the Alvonian coast. These fleet would be joined by an additional Kirov class cruiser and 3 more Kolkota class destroyers. The fleet would move to a position 100 KM north of Alvonia. Three OTR-23 Oka brigades and one Iskander missile brigade would move into Belorussian Poland. The Belorussian forces that had been deployed to the Burgenland would return to Belorussian Poland, and would take up defensive positions. Portions of the Belorussian AIr Force that had been sent to Hungary would also return, and would be sent back to their bases.

Then, they would start shooting. The Kolkota class destroyers would each fire 16 Brahmos missiles, for a total of 240 missiles. These would target Alvonian long range SAM sites and airbases in Alvonian Poland, the locations of which had been gleaned by satellite. An additional 60 Kh-55 missiles would be fired from 10 Belorussian Tu-160 bombers. Once again, these would target Alvonian SAMs and airbases.

While Alvonian SAMs were busy with the 300 cruise missiles flying towards them, the Belorussian Oka launchers would fire 54 missiles, yet again targeting Alvonian airbases in Poland. 18 Iskander missiles would also be fired at airbases in Alvonian Poland.

With a bit of luck, 350+ missiles would get the message across to the Alvonians.

Broken promises - they won't be coming home.

Belarusian attempts to destroy Alvonian countermeasures saw some success, with approximately 70 of the missiles striking dummy units and facilities, sparing at least some Flugabwehrraketen 300/400 vehicles and airbases. 24 more of the missiles were shot down by said systems, using data gathered from radar and airborne warning and control aircraft. Of course, others weren't so lucky. 10 of both the Flugabwehrraketen 300/400 systems saw themselves destroyed before they were able to move or engage missiles, and five airbases were deemed unusable, although the air units there had been rotated out to deal with issues elsewhere and therefore escaped bombardment. Other airbases were damaged, but still operation with some minor runway paving to do. Around Szczecin, MIM-104D Patriot batteries opened up to deal with the ballistic missiles that now posed a threat to Alvonian SAMs present in the city, as well as batteries in Wrocław and Gorzów Wielkopolski, which would destroy, depending on their range and speed, up to 80 of the incoming ballistic missiles.

This prompted orders for the Kriegsmarine - sail to the Baltic, no matter what the Nordisk Rike had imposed. Alvonia was already locked in a de facto state of war with one Nordic Bloc member, to call in their leader, as one Alvonian naval captain put it, would give them "more pigs to kill". In addition to this, 40 Tu-22M aircraft took off from airfields all over Alvonia with Panavia Tornado ECR planes in tow to defeat and confuse the sensors and processing systems on the Belarusian naval ships. First priorities for the Tu-22M planes, which were loaded with 10 Kh-22M/MA missiles each, were to either disable or destroy the Kolkata-class destroyers that were launching the BrahMos missiles, and then focus fire on whatever remained. The Tornado ECR planes fired off AGM-88 HARM missiles at radiation points, which were sure to be either the radars on the ships itself or the point-defense SAMs mounted on the destroyers, while also sending out random noise to jam the radar and prevent easy locking on the Luftwaffe planes. Once their mission was complete, they would withdraw as quickly as they came. However, Luftwaffe action wasn't over yet. 30 of the Luftwaffe's Tu-95MS planes also took off, loaded with 15,000 kg worth of Kh-101 missiles, and fired their payloads at the spots where Belarusian Oka and Iskander launchers were, the information on their locations gained from extrapolating the ballistic trajectory of the missiles. With luck, most if not all of the launchers would be rendered useless to the Belarusians.

While all this happened, Oberkommando der Wehrmacht ordered the general mobilization and transfer of Heer troops to Alvonian Poland, which would leave a few select units in their original postings, those units being the 14. Infanterie-Division (Ita) in South Tirol, 11. Gebrigsjäger Division (Tsch) in the Czech States, 17. Infanterie-Division in Germany, and the 3. Infanterie-Division in Vienna. All others, including the entirety of the Schwarze Korps and the Marinestoßtruppdivision began their transfer to Alvonian Poland, taking with them all of their support elements and heavy weapons all via rail, which would take between six and thirteen hours, depending on where in Alvonia the unit was originally stationed.

News of the Belarusian threat and revival of attacks on the Alvonian state prompted a media release, which would be public knowledge to all nations, which showed missile strikes hitting Alvonian Poland and attempted strikes in Szczecin, Wrocław and Gorzów Wielkopolski, combined with footage of artillery strikes in Vienna, with a narrator stating in a very matter-of-fact manner that the images shown on screen were the work of the Belarusian military, and that they had proven they were perfectly willing to attack civilian population centers in order to kill Alvonian soldiers. A challenge was posed to the world - how long will they tolerate the reckless and outright criminal actions of Belarus?

Alvonian attempts to shoot down Belorussian ballistic missiles targeting Alvonia's SAMs wouldn't do much good, mainly because there were no Belorussian ballistic missiles targeting Alvonia's SAMs. All the ballistic missiles that had been launched were targeting Alvonian airbases, and only Belorussian cruise missiles had been targeting Alvonia's SAMs. Shooting down the Belorussian ballistic missiles would not be a particularly easy task. The Iskander missiles that had been fired had a number of countermeasures, such as jamming devices that they could use to interfere with Alvonian radars. These missiles also incorporated stealth technology, and were able to release decoys and perform evasive maneuvers during the terminal phase of flight. The jamming and decoys from the Iskander missiles would also make it rather difficult for Alvonian SAMs to target other Belorussian missiles as well. The Belorussian Oka missiles were also just generally hard to hit in their own right.

Alvonian Tornados attempting to fire HARMs at the Belorussian ships would face a number of challenges, in the form of the S-400 missiles being carried on the Belorussian Kirov cruisers. The Alvonian jets would be engaged by S-400s fired from a total of 60 launchers, well before the Alvonians could get close enough to engage the Belorussian ships with their HARMs.

(OOC: I'll rp casualties from your Kh-22 missiles after I know how many, if any, of your aircraft survive long enough to launch those HARMs.)

Alvonian missiles fired at the Belorussian missile launchers would do little good, as the launchers had been moved to different locations after they had fired their missiles.

Belorussian forces would then begin the second stage of what had now been dubbed Operation Ubiytsa.

60 Belorussian MiG-31s would take to the air. Each one carried one Kh-58 missile and one Kh-31 missile.

Meanwhile, the Belorussian Iskander and Oka launchers would reach their new location and reload.

Way up high, Belorussian satellites would notice a shitload. of Alvonian soldiers and military equipment being dumped on trains and heading for Poland.

The Belorussian Iskander launchers would fire another 18 missiles. Once again, the electronic counter measures and stealth designs of these missiles would make them difficult to shoot down, especially since most Alvonian long range SAMs in Poland would still most likely be in the process of moving to a new location, reloading, or just destroyed. The Belorussian missiles that had been fired would target trains believed to be carrying Alvonian troops and military equipment. The Iskanders did have the ability to be re-targeted in order to hit moving targets, like the Alvonian trains.

Belorussian Oka missiles would also fire, taking advantage of the brief jamming provided by the Iskander missiles. Another 54 Oka missiles would be fired, targeting Alvonian airbases that had not taken significant damage from Previous Belorussian missile strikes. At this point Belarus had fired 2/3ds of its Iskander and Oka stockpiles.

Simultaneously, the Belorussian MiG-31s would launch their attack. The Belorussian aircraft would begin firing their Kh-58 anti-radiation missiles at the radars of surviving Alvonian long range SAMs, before they had time to reload or redeploy from the previous Belorussian strikes. The Kh-58 missiles had a range of 250 km, and the Belorussian jets would work to keep their distance from surviving Alvonian SAMs and jets. If they did come under threat, they would use their active and passive radar jammers, as well as their thermal decoys.

Private Diplomatic Note from Nordisk Rike

(To: Belarus, Alvonia)

We are sending this message in an attempt to broker a peace between your two nations. Your current war disrupts the status quo that has been built around the Baltic Sea and draws attention away from the real problem, the war against the Transitional Government of France. They are the real threat, and while peace may not be long lasting we are hoping at the very least we can come to terms for a cease fire. We have drafted a mock treaty, which is one where we think both parties will get what they want.

1) Belarus and Alvonia will agree to a white peace. Neither side wins, neither side loses.

2) Nordisk Rike will accept responsibility for the war, and accept all blame for damages done to both nations.

3) Nordisk Rike will accept financial responsibility for damages done to both nations, and will pay reparations to both nations to cover the damages done.

4) Nordisk Rike will annul the previous treaty that it had with Alvonia and will allow Alvonian shipping and Military Vessels to return the Baltic.

5) Nordisk Rike, Belarus, and Alvonia will sign a non aggression pact that will last for the duration of the war in France. This part of the treaty will become null and void should Alvonia attack any Belarus or Nordisk Rike Ally.

Private - Nordisk Rike/Alvonia

The Foreign Ministry of Alvonia has reviewed these terms offered and they have been rejected by the Reichstag and Director Wilding's office.

Our reasons for rejecting the terms are as follows:

  1. Belarus began this conflict by first illegally crossing into Alvonian territory, and expanded it by firing on innocents in Vienna and destroyed Alvonian military structures and equipment.
  2. In the eyes of Alvonia, Belarus is responsible for any and all damage caused and life lost as a result of their attacks. This is the government's position as well.
  3. Alvonia will not accept these terms unless modifications are made to firmly place blame and reparations on Belarus.
  4. Should Alvonia come under further attack at any point during these negotiations, Alvonia will not consider any further deals and will eliminate the Belarusian threat to our nation and people.

To counter, Alvonia offers the following modifications and highly encourages the Rike to forward them to Belarus.

  1. Belarus and Alvonia will agree to a white peace, with Belarus conceding defeat.
  2. Belarus will accept responsibility for the war and all blame for damage done.
  3. Belarus will accept financial responsibility for the war and will pay the Alvonian state a sum equal to 45 million Reichsmarks, in either gold or paper currency.
  4. Nordisk Rike will annul the previous treaty that it had with Alvonia and will allow Alvonian shipping and military vessels to return to the Baltic, as well as removing prior restrictions on Alvonian military movements and equipment on the Baltic coast.
  5. Nordisk Rike, Belarus, and Alvonia will sign a supremely overriding non-aggression pact that will last for five years. This treaty will be null and void should Alvonia attack any Belarus or Nordisk Rike ally, or Belarus or Nordisk Rike attack an Alvonian ally.

The peaceful union of Germany would have to wait. The Northlands supported a united Germany, but only one that was established through non-violent means, and reports of the resurgence of Alvonia in Baden-Wurttemberg and Bavaria would quickly bring these actions to a halt. Northlandic soldiers would make their way back out of southern Germany and maintain their readiness at the border. Orders would be given to resurrect border defenses on par with the fortifications being constructed on the Alvonian border.

A message would be sent to Alvonia, informing the government that the Northlands was invoking the cancellation clause of its Non-Aggression Pact. Reasons would include the unreliability and continued warmongering of the Alvonian state which were inconsistent with the values that the Northlands sought in friendly and allied states. The message would further go on to say that the Northlands would continue to hope for cooperation on Germanic matters and stability in central Europe through peaceful means if at all possible.

A message would be sent to Belarus and the rest of the Nordic Hammer confirming the Northlands' commitment to its allies. The Office of Security would make contact with its counterparts in Belarus and Nordisk Rike and request up-to-date information on the situation and plans for where Northlandic assistance could best be utilized to ensure the well-being of Belarus in the current hostilities.

Belarus would send a response to the Northlands, thanking it for its continued commitment. Information concerning the military actions taken by Belarus thus far would be sent as well. As far as Northlandic assistance, really just about anything that the Northlands could do to weaken Alvonia, militarily or otherwise, would be very much appreciated, as Belarus' entire operation thus far had been to weaken Alvonia's ability to carry out its threats against Belarus. Of course, if the Northlands could not get involved at this time, that too was understandable.

ooc; i'm on my phone right now, apologies for any crappy grammer and such

The Northlands message would be replied to by stating the Alvonian state with disappointed with the cancellation, and reminded the Northlands that Alvonia has only been, and will continue to, defending her territory and sovereign rights and that as of this moment, Belarus was violating those rights by firing on Alvonian troops, cities, and infrastructure without a prior declaration of war, and had also invaded Alvonia herself weeks prior. The response also asked the Northlands to encourage Belarus to accept Alvonian peace terms as soon as possible to avoid further bloodshed.

After much consideration we have decided at this time your counter offer is unacceptable. As such we offered compensation for the war and to take blame as an offer of good will to bury the hatchet between our two nations and to settle the issues that were currently there. No party wins in the treaty I offered, you want to walk away like a victor. We however will not throw Belarus to the wolves or allow them to even see the terms that you had sent as a counter offer. We will encourage one last time to accept the offer we laid out at your feet, we won't offer it again.

The peace terms have been accepted by Director Wilding and his staff. Should Belarus again violate Alvonian sovereignty, the Wehrmacht will not be stopped by pleas from Stockholm.
