Peter Ilyich
Public Materials As seen in the LA Times As we well know, California has never faced a war before, excluding the Civil War. Our nation has never been faced with the threats we are faced with today, and thus leaves us unaware of what may arise once this war breaks out, until now. What we know is that the borders are on high-alert, and cooperation with foreign nations is at an all-time low, not considering our collaboration with Texas in regards to the apparent war. The good news is that we have so far had no attacks on California soil, and that should continue as after all, the war is over Texas, not New Mexico. California has not been in any attacks as of late, however are expected to launch on attack within the next week as they have been by the border for a rather long time now. What else do we know? We know that the UCR is using good propaganda tactics to bring in more soldiers. At the top of the article is one of the more common ones that may be seen and the most popular, at that. However, we now have something that nobody in the World Wars had to use for propaganda: the world wide web. With the internet, the government can practically choose what kind of audience to see the propaganda. Going on gaming websites? Choose a piece of propaganda that uses gaming as a tactic in it, and post it on there as an advertisement. The possibilities are nearly endless.
