Starcraftmazter
Hi I'm going overseas for two weeks for a holiday (in Korea), and I'll be staying at a Hotel using Hotel wifi during that period of time. I am wondering whether this type of situation is usually problematic in terms of if other people (as unlikely as it may be) happen to be playing from that wifi or having ever logged in from it before. So is it best I get a nation sitter, or should I be right checking up on my nation from the Hotel? Cheers
IYIyTh
Just don't aid/trade with someone who happens to be at that hotel and whom also plays cn.
Starcraftmazter
Just don't aid/trade with someone who happens to be at that hotel and whom also plays cn. But how do I know if that is the case?
zoskia
There shoud be something similar to the Nation sitting thread for these situations. Probably a system in which a player can be "sitting" his own nation during a trip... and he has mostly the same rules that Nation sitters have. This is more a suggestion than a question. Overlord Wes
If it's only two weeks the safest thing would be to just pause any tech deals and collect the day before you leave.
Hereno
I've checked my nation from hotels and universities before. You're probably fine.
JoshuaR
I used to worry about this kind of thing but with the fall in population, I don't give a fuck anymore and just assume no one else in the world plays CN, so I just access my nation from anywhere. vandelsand
The odds of this happening are very very low.
Azaghul
11,000 nations out of millions of hotels worldwide, I think you'll be fine.
King Brandon
Imagine they have multiple ip's at said hotel as well.
Atlas
The only advice we can give is that you get a sitter or that you're extremely careful logging in from wherever you are. Public/hotel/college IPs always carry with them a certain risk.
