Captain Enema Posted April 22, 2013 Report Share Posted April 22, 2013 (edited) Basecamp Alpha Commissar Chavez of the People's Resistance decided he has had about enough of all of this talk of bring freedom, education, and healthcare to the people of the South American Protectorate. In theory he's fine with those things, but in practice he demands they be collectively organized and with the proper political education provided. The Chilean smugness and their hypocrisy had driven him nearly up the wall with all their generosity. Neither is he a fan of the Zulians and their do gooder volunteers, the Argentinians and their slimy charity groups. Nor is he a fan of just about anyone other nation in South America. A bad day is when someone reminds him of the Lunar Republic. An even worst day comes when someone throws the name of Holy American Empire into the ring. Some of the greatest communist nations and socialist nations on the planet have left him spitting in rage and disgust at their lack of willingness to carry out the revolution in their own backyard. He carries out the revolution in his own backyard, he's a very large fan of controlling what he can influence. How his neighbors work and speak are things he can control. His Special Police and his Paramilitary Squads had done great work in and around Basecamp Alpha for weeding out the politically unsuitable. Sure there had been a few rapes, several murders, and numerous unexplained disappearances that aren't easily explained. That's the revolution for you, it's a messy business. No one goes away with clean hands. Either they are covered in the dirt of labor or they are coated with the blood of the revolution's enemies. Absolutely no one in the end walks away clean. Chavez isn't clean, he's stained with blood up to his elbows from using a pair of pliers to rip the teeth out of a man's mouth one by one for daring to speak that the virtues of capitalism outweighed those of the glorious forces at play with the October revolution. The dried blood on his arms was to most offputting. Many considered him a madman and a sociopath. All are true, up close he's a repugnant little weasel of a man that has a that sick sort of intelligence that allows him to manipulate others through identifying what it is they want the most. This feral sense of being able to sniff out desires and weaknesses had propelled Chavez from the bottom of a very small pond into the top of a small sea. Where it was true that recently Basecamp Alpha only controlled a small part of the region, it is looking more and more likely to change as time goes on. Chavez and his men were busy "spreading" the revolution through rape and terror farther and father away from Basecamp Alpha. As they moved, they gained strength and left broken spirits, damaged flesh, and a trail of bodies. The fact that Basecamp Alpha had existed for so long in secrecy is a testament to Chavez's ability to keep a low profile, but now with the sudden power grab for more territory, the reports begin to flood into the South American Organization's office. ooc: The green spot next to chile is "zombieland". it's still part of the SAO and can be claimed, just whoever wants it needs to have a word with me first so I can explain we have an ongoing rp in it and see if they want to form up their nation as part of it, or after the fact. Captain Enema Posted April 23, 2013 Author Report Share Posted April 23, 2013 Basecamp Alpha It is easy to mistake Chavez for a fire and brimstone breathing sort of communist, but at heart he's really just a raving opportunist The little Mao's Little Red Book was nothing but incomprehensible scribbles to him. The works of Marx as far as Commandante Chavez were great for toilet paper. What Chave loves most about his position is the fear people have of him. He's a bully with bullies enough to get his way in a small region of the Amazon, but a region that is growing day by day. Like all good despots and other assorted craven thugs, Chavez has those things that he utterly adores. Torture, the physical and psychological act of inflicting pain on another person, Chavez loves performing it and watching it. It is why just the day before he ripped out half of the teeth from a man's mouth with a pair of rusty pliers for remarking poorly on the merits of communism. He truly isn't bothered by the remarks, he just wants to watch the man suffer for hours on end and is using the excuse of thought crime as a means of getting his simple pleasures of life satisfied. Today he's decided to take it up to the next level and has the man tied face down on the ground with his privates over an ant mound. "Truly, the old ways are the best," Chavez comments as he examines his work. "Si, and speaking of the old ways Commandante Chavez, what of our weapons?" asked First Front Leader Trujillo. "The underground caverns have plentiful weapons for all of us. The Holy American Empire stored enough equipment there in the event of a catastrophe to equip three armies or more. Plenty of equipment for us to export the revolution," Chavez replied. "Si, and of the exporting part mi Commandante?" asked Second Front Leader Peron. "The volunteers have been selected and they've been prepared. They began infiltrating Chile last week. We will bring those low born dogs to their feet! VIVA LA REVOLUCION!" screamed Chavez. "VIVA LA REVOLUCION," screamed his three top rank officers Peron, Trujillio, and Salazar. "ARRRRRRRRGGGGGHHH MY NUTS," screamed the man tied to the ground. Movements First Revolutionary Front begins deploying towards the Bolivian/Chile Border with 4000 men after being issued the HAE, or as Commandante Chavez calls it, Revolutionary weapons and equipment. Second Revolutionary Front secures Basecamp Alpha with 3200 men and they too are issued new equipment. Third Revolutionary Front begins to expand further to the north and east with 5000 men and new equipment. Reports The South American Organization notices a massive uptick in violence and reports from the area of Basecamp Alpha. Kevin Kingswell Posted April 24, 2013 Report Share Posted April 24, 2013 In response to reports of violence erupting in the South American Protectorate the Imperatrix ordered that at least one full army division be sent to the area to assist the current and soon to be arriving defenders of peace. She hoped that this would increase relations with the other South American nations which would be greatly beneficial to her cause. Though they wished to argue against this action her generals knew better than to actually do so and as such the 3rd Imperial Army Division proceeded from Paraguay in the direction of this Zombieland area to help bolster the defenders there.
