Overlord Wes
Now, I think expert DDR players can hit 500 APM. This means, lag permitting, it should make sense to run a 180 minute non-scoring round where each "day" requires only 2 minute. All you have to do is to keep on pressing the buttons minute after minute. Would be entertaining to spend 3 hours like that.
I'm unsure how this is relevant to the topic, but arrow games are fun so I agree.

I'm in favor of a small SE reward for finishing in the top 5% or 10%, though, and possibly even alliance-rank rewards, though I'm not sure precisely how those would work out.
I agree; some sort of SE bonus (possibly more significant than one donation, or unique to TE wins, like a minor national wonder that sticks with you for the duration of the next TE round) that could be won without so much effort and luck. In most TE rounds, the top three places are taken by dedicated flagrunners, but the next seven are a little more open; you can get into the top 10 merely by being very good at the game. Right now, I'm guessing most SE players don't bother playing TE to get the bonuses for SE; the chance of winning one is so small that it's not worth trying for. I suggest maybe if u get top 3, you will be offered with a special wonder for regular Cybernation. Then from 4- 10, u will be offered 500 tech or something like that? That will get regular cybernation members to play TE. I would love to see 5000 players playing TE!
Clash
Not bad ideas. It doesnt even have to be anything huge, just an incentive. Maybe even make it open to a few more people. Top 20 in TE get 50 tech or 25 infra in SE, something like that. That's not much at all, but still worth it. Nations right now: 561. Sigh. Freddy
They should give 50 tech, 25 infra, or $3 million to everyone who plays the duration of the round. Then award the top ranks with increasingly larger prizes of tech and infra.

Then award the top ranks with increasingly larger prizes of tech and infra.
Well, you'd have SE players create 3-NS nations and collect once every 20 days just for that bonus, but not actively play. So it might be more towards the point to give the bonus to everyone in the top 100 or 200; easily achievable by a decent player, but you would actually have to play. Still, as I understand, 50 tech or 3M is pretty paltry in SE; even with bigger bonuses for the top nations, it's not an especially large incentive. I'd suggest something unique to TE, that can't be bought easily in SE; say, a temporary wonder that shifts all ground battle odds 1% in your favor, or improves the frequency/power of positive events, or makes your SDI block 65% of nukes/makes opposing SDIs block 55% of the time. While having real intangibles is hard (if not impossible) in a math-based game like Cybernations, you can certainly add intriguing effects that can't easily be expressed as a lump sum of money spent on a specific stat.
