  1. One of my favorite memories of Invicta was during the month I spent in GOONS as part of a peace agreement. I nuked Haflinger. Whatever else could be said of Invicta, and much could be said, they were a relic of a brighter past.
  2. The League has an average casualty count of over 17.5M. We exceed every other alliance save for DBDC, yet we are once again overlooked. Rectify this error now. Further insults will not be tolerated.
  3. The last time VE did anything that could be called ambitious or interesting was in 2007 or 2008. I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you.
  4. Is this where I report this? My tech seller says he cannot send me tech because he is getting a error saying I am a multi or something. I promise you I am not a multi. I am far too lazy to be a multi. How can I get this fixed so I can receive the tech? Thanks. Edit: I don't know if it is relevant or not, but I did recently move so that might make any IP addresses associated with my account look odd. Maybe. I don't know the internet works and have no care to learn either. Edit 2: Apparently we're in the same state and have the same ISP (although located about three hours apart). Is that enough to flag the multiple accounts warning for aid?
  5. All the Vox forum posts are on the current forum. I believe this post is about the old forum, which was up from 2006 to late 2007.
  6. There's a reason this very important person is in charge of CLAWS.
  7. The League recognizes LSF an alliance, and we will treat any further denial of their status as an alliance by you as a hostile action from the Viridian Entente. Consider this your only warning.
  8. You're trending on dangerous ground. You do not want to incur the wrath of the League.
  9. No, it's not funny in the slightest. It is freaking hilarious.
  10. Empty husk meets desiccated remains. What a splendid match. The only improvement I can think of is if you would both spare us the trouble and disband.
  11. The League is a strong, independent alliance that don't need no Non Grata.
  12. Does this now mean that the casualty rankings will be colored blue?
  13. See what you have done, @Lyanna Mormont? You are now of the same mind as Firingline, and he is an idiot. I do not care that he is now allied to Non Grata. If anything, that only reinforces my point.
  14. So, you do not deny that the government of Non Grata is comprised of individuals who have committed crimes against good taste?
  15. E tu, Sponge? This madness goes further than I feared. Still, I am reassured by the support of CCC. There was never any doubt in my mind where they would stand on this most important matter. And for those still on the fence, members of Non Grata leadership have also expressed disgust at crab as food. If you should doubt this I can provide evidence of their continued poor sense of taste.
  16. I fear it is all true. After the events of this day my views of certain members of Non Grata's leadership have irreversibly and irreparably soured. I do wish I did not have to be vague, but there are some things so gross and terrible they do not need to be repeated.
  17. My friends, you know the League well. Though we may not always conduct ourselves with the grave seriousness of alliances such as the Random Insanity Alliance or Farkistan we pride ourselves in always having acted with an essential sense of decency. With that aim in mind we have been selective about who we chose to call friends, taking to care to ensure they share our fundamental beliefs and values. Sadly it appears the outward face presented some of those we thought friends does match their innermost character. Who they are is not who we are, and their actions and attitudes quite simply are not compatible with the principles in which the League was founded and to which its members are held, necessitating this course of action. As of this day, the Seventeenth of February in the Year of Our Lord Walford Two Thousand and Twenty Three, the Federated Allied Independence League hereby revokes its protection of Non Grata. While we do recognize that not all members of Non Grata are guilty of the offenses that have led to this outcome, until these outrages against the League's dignity have been sufficiently remedied we cannot in good faith continue our prior association. To our friends and allies (you know who you are, even if it is a secret to us), the League continues to walk with you in love and fellowship. But do know that if we ever find you have deceived us as we have been deceived by Non Grata this is the fate that awaits you. For a scolding from the League is a shame no alliance can survive. To the world at large, understand that this denunciation of Non Grata is not an endorsement of the New Pacific Order or its allies. Pacifica is trash, and forever shall be. Amen. So speaketh Rebel Virginia, God Emperor of the Federated Allied Independence League, GATO Assembly Chairman Runner-up, Oyster Connoisseur, Rightful Arbiter of Francoism, and Once and Future Dark Lord of the Sith
  18. We'll rebuild to "relevancy" in no time. With the size of most war chests it is easy to get 10k infra and 5k tech within a year or so, if even that long. But when it comes to the supertier of nations they can't get rid of their hundreds of thousands of tech even if they tried, meaning they can do absolutely nothing of value.
  19. I think you're still missing the big picture. Every alliance came into this knowing their top end would be burned by the Doom/NPO super nations. The damage ratios for those were always going to be lopsided in their favor due to the impact of that kind of tech. However, once they've burned for one or two rounds then the picture changes. After that they are out of reach of the top Doom/NPO nations and can join the larger swarm of RFD nations in the middle. There we have the advantage. Whether you believe that or not right now, the longer this goes on the more abundantly clear it will become.
