1.
I'm not really sure saying someone else's principles not being in line with yours may impair your ability to have a treaty with them makes you a fool. Being indiscreet enough to splash it on the OWF in an attempt to discredit or invalidate their point makes you at least a silly goose, though.
It wasn't to invalidate any point he was making. I have no opinion on the point he was trying to make with reference to the treaty cancellation. He's entitled to any opinion he wants. I did it to point out to him the effect that his negative comment was having on the treaty negotiation that his alliance was engaged in. It seemed a bit odd to me to be in the middle of a treaty negotiation and then criticise the other party on OWF over something that could be well left alone.
2. Then you have mis-heard, metaphorically. I posted a question, a comment on a phrase used in another reply and a reference fact that I am privvy to. Neither of those struck me as making Silence look foolish. Given your consistent refusal to point out what was foolish about them you've still not pointed out anything that makes me reconsider.
3.
Because they didn't look stupid at all, right?
That's right. I'm beginning to suspect that you are guilty of what you acuse me of.
4.
Good to know, they were kinda making fools of you.
I think you'll find you have mischaracterised the two posts I made.
5.
I'm not exactly sure how it would have any effect at all, I'm sad to see that two alliances I like are torn apart over something so trivial.
'Torn apart' is a bit melodramatic. And if you think your criticism hasn't been noted and remarked upon by the alliance yours has requested a treaty with then you are mistaken.
6.
I seen this happening, shouldn't have pressed the issue guys.
I wonder how the treaty request from TKTB will work out after this comment...
7. Here's to a new ago of fruitful cooperation and more cookies. o/
8. o/ Silence. Onwards and upwards to the next one.
9. The quotation in your post actually said 'nearly full proof evidence' which I read to mean 'nearly foolproof evidence' which is an oxymoron. If it is nearly foolproof then it isn't foolproof. If it isn't foolproof then it can't be the proof that you referrred to and thus the evidence you are requesting has not been declared to exist. This is the extent of my logic in replying to your post implying that the proof does not exist..
10. Probably the same place the full proof is that you never attempted to infiltrate Athens. It's damned hard to prove a negative.
11. If I asked your brother if he was telling the truth would he say 'yes'?
12. But the point your quoted example is to influence the outcome of a final decision making point, an election. In this case there is not such junction. The argument is perennially between prevailing fashions but the populace will not be required to decide who is most preferred and thus the debate is indeed in this instance pointless. The only thing that counts is if alliance members vote with their feet. but so much of the CN population is in transit anyway that no-one would really notice if a few more people switched sides because of a political ideology discussion.
13. LEN is full of good people and OTF is full of good people. The results can only be a fantastic alliance. GOod luck to everyone involved.
