  1. Hilarious. Good on you for showing how utterly useless UCR is and was.
  2. No thanks, Mogar. Good luck with CNRPA.
  3. I agree with this, however the map created did not mention (to my knowledge) any discrepancies. I also made it clear I wasn't suspecting to get all of Iberia, and I thanked the mapmaker for it. I was expecting the land I have now, but found I got all of Iberia. Nobody told me it was under review and I had been making plans for the straights of gibraltar and have missiles and defense tech being worked on in the south and south western portions of Spain and Portugal. This is the issue: that the changes took so long, no word was said about it being temporary or under review. I am not so much upset about the claim, as I am about it suddenly now changing after I had started RPing. I am trying my best to be patient, and understanding but you have to see where I am coming from: I've been developing a story based on the lands I was given at launch, and have had for days now. Over a week. I think it's entirely fair for me to keep those lands I was given at launch since there was no communication to me about the map being temporary or that I should expect my land to change back to what was told to me initially in the PMs pre-launch.
  4. Please remove my claim and nation from the map. If you cannot be bothered to release a map encompassing the right claims and boundaries of a nation, then don't release it. Worse, don't have people roleplay on their lands with no warning or comment as to their lands being under review - until over a week later where it is edited without comment or notice given to the owner. That's unprofessional, and stupid.
  5. I'd like to ask why my claim has been shrunk, after having existed for some time now to encompass all of Iberia. I have been RPing in all of that territory for some time now, and frankly, it's a little depressing to see it summarily changed. Can I please have the lands restored, as they were at launch and for days afterwards?
  6. OOC: NVM, since apparently my nation has shrunk by nearly 40% in the last day or two. WTF?! Lol.
  7. As the trio of cars finally made their way to the palace, the entourage of Galitorvix, and the French delegation walked inside the palace gates and down a series of modest halls. The walls of each hallway were lined with fine tapestries, pictures depicting celtic landscapes and events in the Celtic history as well as portraits of past Cheitains. The group rounded a corner and entered an expansive room with a large banquet table set with various places for the staff of each nation's dignitary to sit and partake. On the table were baskets of fruits, grains and sweets. A menu provided an option of an elaborate chicken dinner, or one of beef steak with a side of vegetables for either dish. After ordering the steak meal, and waiting for the Frenchman to order his, Galitorvix spoke. "Perhaps a trade zone would be difficult indeed. What then, would your government say about a free trade agreement in which competition between french and celtic goods would be reduced and the furthering of amicable trade between citizens is encouraged? This is, of course, under the condition that the border forces we discussed earlier would affect the changes you seemed amiable to...?"
  8. I'm fine with it, now that I've aired my feelings on the matter. I doubt there will be any issues, but I wanted to make sure some of the misgivings were shared. Welcome aboard, Mael. I know you don't need my approval but still. You have it.
  9. Let me be very clear, yet very honest at the same time here: I do not know you outside of CNRP, and I haven't really had a chance to give you the benefit of the doubt, so I will try to do so here. However two things bother me here. To me, this seems fairly subjective. Again, I will be honest in that I was not fully aware of what was going on in the various threads in CNRP2. I noticed a lot of drama, and I chose to not get involved or care. But I did see some fairly juvenile posts from you, that while may be optional in content and canon, were glib in style and fairly pointless other than to add fuel to the fire. Regardless of whether you felt they were justified, they did nothing for people like me, who were reading the thread and thinking "Is this guy for real? Seriously?" and then to see you come here with essentially the same toolbox. It just concerns me for the next time something doesn't go your way, or something you think is an abuse. I see this as a sort of threat. That so long as we don't step on your toes, or infringe on you and refrain from doing what you perceive as an abuse, you won't go ballistic. Again, the same overall concerns. Look, I don't have any real issues with you personally and I don't think there is any reason to suspect you would flip out again based on how I know the GM's will work here. I just think coming in with the same ludicrous Mars and Dragons stuff seems a bit too much after what happened. I hope you can see where I am coming from.
  10. Can I ask why we are giving Mael His Mars crap back? After the stuff He pulled with the debris in Earth Orbit and a virtual rage quit, why do we need to validate that behavior by giving Him the same tools He used to do such?
  11. Replying to both quotes simultaneously, the Deputy Secretary simply replied, "And you don't want to hear my words, and instead grossly misrepresent my point of view. I did not state I did not want to help. I did not state that Celtiberia did not want a group, or solo effort. I simply put forth the idea that Malta doesn't need to approve or direct charity." And with that, the Celtiberian delegation walked out on the proceedings, heading for their escorts towards the airport to be flown home.
  12. "If you are saying a committee is better able to handle funds or forces, I would disagree. If that is the purpose of this meeting, to set a committee or fund body up to oversee these resources, I don't think Celtiberia can participate."
