  1. It's not a one-day deal, it prevented him from sending me foreign aid a couple weeks ago. I'll give trading him a shot again next time he's on.
  2. I have never done nation sitting in any form (neither had my nation sat on nor sat for another nation)
  3. I occasionally run into a bug where I completely cannot trade with someone because I'm "on the same network" as them when I know I'm not. The current example giving me grief is that Supreme142 and myself cannot trade or do foreign aid. We are not on the same network, and we live in different states.
  4. "No damange was inflicted on NGE-Sucks." Part of the last line of a failed cruise missile launch of mine, blocked by the IMS.
  5. Hi there, I'm currently the owner of Citadel in TE, but I'm having some issues. When I go to click "Manage Alliance Member" on a nation's page, it doesn't actually do anything. The "#alliance" pops up at the end of the url but nothing else occurs at all. I've disabled adblocker, cleared cache, and used a different browser (even going as far as using IE). Nothing is resolving this.
  6. I love the SDI, even though my opponents' always eat my nukes while mine just watch them fly by and hit me. Without it, there wouldn't be much uncertainty or fun in wartime (and wartime is the primary point of TE)
  7. Simple: On the sign up page where you create a TE nation, ask people to include their Standard Edition nation links (and make it optional) I'm not sure on making it a donation specific bonus though. A lot of players (such as myself) already do donation deals or donate themselves, and it wouldn't be possible to fit those donation bonuses in on top of your current deal (especially since the biggest bonus from donation deals is the wonder reset, which the $10 doesn't give) I don't mean to sound whiny "because it wouldn't help me" or anything, but there are some compatibility issues that would be raised between those donations and any donations currently being made, and I'm sure other users would run into these issues too.
  8. I disagree with changing the nuke limits or lowering cost of Manhattan Project, but I absolutely support cutting the costs of each individual nuke. Towards the end of last round I was spending 3mil/day on maxing out my nukes, it's a bit ridiculous for TE
  9. I dislike the idea of allowing only alliance-based prizes, because that doesn't discourage people from doing overzealous flag running. They're still just going to continue to build their nations improperly to inflate their NS, the only difference is that in that case their casualties don't matter and their NS becomes the only factor. All the flag runners would do would be to run to the largest alliance in hordes and continue their sucky building. And if the largest alliance doesn't allow it, they'll flock to the second largest and try to make it the largest, and so on and so forth. The fact is that having prizes is going to attract people who want those prizes. That's the entire point of having the prizes in the first place. We have the prizes to attract these people, we really need to stop complaining because we don't think they should be trying their best to earn said prizes.
  10. Hi, I'd like to find a donation deal that goes in effect as soon as possible (as I'm just barely past my wonder purchase date right now). Willing to pay tech or $$ (would prefer to pay tech) PM me in-game or on forums.
  11. I've been fighting a lot in TE this round, but up until this point all my wars were ~200 tech with no WRC and so forth. Always 5 satellites, though, as a side note. The amount of missile defenses was variable depending on the war, but I was fighting some huge War Doves opponents last war and many definitely had missile defenses as they mostly had SDIs. During War Doves war, I dealt roughly 7 to 10 infrastructure damage per CM. That's with the satellites, but no navy, only 200 tech, and no WRC. Since my last wars, I've gotten myself 10 destroyers, kept those 5 missile defenses, gotten an additional ~470 tech (for a total of 670), and bought a WRC. I've essentially got 1140 tech worth of extra damage, +20% from the Destroyers, right? But I don't. As of me typing this, I'm doing less than 10 infrastructure damage per CM. I've gained no damage, even though I should be dealing quite a bit more.
  12. Thank god, I was gonna be seriously pissed if we made it to end-round without a decent war Good luck all. I'll take as many of you with me as I can :)
  13. http://forums.cybernations.net/index.php?/forum/69-open-world-rp/ That's out of character, right? If so, there would work ^_^
  14. The guy has a point, I just don't think he expressed it clearly. Building a nation should be difficult. Holding it together in times of war, keeping your citizens happy, staying in office if you're democratic, etc. is extremely difficult. Instead it's treated as if you just toss money into the air and infrastructure and wonders rain down from the sky, keeping your citizens complacent.
