Protection Agreement between RDS and GOONS I. Sovereignty and Conduct A. GOONS will act as the protector of RDS should RDS find itself threatened militarily or politically. B. RDS agrees to conduct its foreign policy civilly and responsibly. II. Defense and Intelligence A. GOONS will provide financial and military assistance in event of another alliance attacks RDS. B. RDS will retain the option to join in the defense of GOONS during wartime, but is not obligated to do so. C. Both GOONS and RDS agree to share intelligence and gossip between themselves. III. Foreign Policy A. RDS agrees not to sign any treaties other than Optional Defense Pacts, or Peace, Intelligence, and Aid, Treaties while this protectorate is valid. B. Peace was declared with LN. As was said before, ghosts have to negotiate their own terms. I don't really see how this could be clearer. Perhaps in a crudely photoshopped image with massive JPEG compression artifacts?

I'd suspect our agreement setup is kind of a giveaway, but welcome back Europa on behalf of GOONS.

Again, the GOONS thing was a raid. Your alliance is still too small to qualify as valid, so we can't have declared war. Also my precious pixels are indeed lowered. I am absolutely devastated that that arbitrary number has changed. :(

Do you guys run your alliances without policies? A number of you seem to not understand that we have policies for dealing with things and one of those affects who is eligible to raid. You're free to characterize it as "running away" (it's hilarious, but you're quite free) but it's really just a simple issue of having to abide by our policies once the ~*secret hidden treaty*~ was was brought to our attention. Really I made one error and that is taking the time to actually announce a raid, which more or less obliged me to announce an end to the raid once Methrage fell out of our policies for eligible alliances. Beyond that, this is working out reasonably well. We're still getting to raid Methrage, as it happens, since he declined peace, and the point of posting publicly was to get Methrage primarily and the AGONI peanut gallery secondarily, to whine for many pages and we're up to six. :) Not quite as good as Rey's thread, but it's something.
