Thanks for all the kind words, everyone. We figured if we can't go full speed we might as well retire to our farms :) Thanks. Remember our blood feud a few years back? Our 30 day war was probably the most epic thing I've been a part of in TE. I spent $96 million on that war. The way things should be in TE.

The guns have fallen silent on the battlefield. After many rounds of being one of the pillars of TE, The Phoenix Cobras are announcing that after a glorious day, the sun has set on our time in TE. All great empires must come to an end. We hold our heads up high as we all lay down our arms and retire to our individual kingdoms. As many of you know, TPC has been around for years. We have seen the highest of the highs, and achieved things that were rarely rivaled in the game. Even until the end, we had the greatest concentration of elite fighters and builders in TE. With TE fading, we decided that it was time to undertake an honorable exit. To our friends--you were always there for us and we are grateful for your support and wisdom during the darkest days. To our enemies--thank you. It was you who pushed us to greater heights, and taught us what it meant to lead in an unstable world. First things first, this is a fun war and I have no complaints. Those isolated incidents have stopped--we both just had to be a bit more forceful :p. I'm personally fine with using everything available in the game, but understand I am in a very small minority so I respect the will of the people. If people hate the features, they should petition Almighty Admin to remove them and replace them with other fun stuff :)

Ok, the econ spy operations are apparently continuing so I want to make it abundantly clear: No member of TPC has been authorized to use econ ops. TPC will treat any use of econ ops moving forward as grounds to continue this war past 5 days for any nation using them. I personally don't care about the morality of using those ops, but if we set a standard, it must be followed.

This will be fun :)

Since I am likely to win the casualty crown, it has been a great round :p On a serious note though, it was a lot of fun. I believe we need to have these sort of "wildcard" rounds, where everyone is thrown a curveball and folks have to figure out strategy quickly and on the fly. The usual suspects did very well in terms of money, but how many of our newer and less experienced members finally got to see what it is like to have a truly massive nation? For a 60 day round, people were able to do some really impressive things. If this were a 90 day round, it'd be absurd. I'm looking forward to updating the record book tomorrow.
