1. Certainly. You are invited to meet the Prime Minister at his residence tomorrow, if this is acceptable?
 2. A sattelite belonging to the Kanvers government immediately picked up a sudden increase in radiation, and telescopes on the ground were whited out by the explosion. Computers in government labs went into overdrive. CLASSIFIED - TO THE US What was that? Please confirm test was intentional; you have knocked one of our satellites out of orbit!
 3. I'm fish and marble. You can count Kanvers in, if the circle is made Aqua. I will export a lot, but will expect nukes.
 4. Greetings, nations of the world. For so long, we have walked, brothers, into the foray of nation management. Now, alas, I must request the assistance of your great and wonderful nations. We are in a financial situation worserned by outside events and influences, and our economy is close to collapse. We need finance and tech aid; as much tech as we can get, and 9 million in finance - of course, you dont have to send 9 mil if it is too much, and there is no limit to how much you can send to us, but the point is, however little or much you help - Kanvers values its benefactors and friends, and those that help us by sending us a nice chunk of money and maybe a little tech will be on our good list. Kanvers is part of the NADC; help me and I can help you in future. I stand by my allies, so please, please, please, send us some aid. We are an honourable nation and we understand that not all nations are huge banks. We say 9 million would be nice, but every little helps, and even if you just wanna send a few thousand and a tech level or two, we would still value your help. FINANCE AND TECH AID URGENTLY NEEDED. PLEASE HELP. UPDATE :- DON'T BOTHER. HAVE WORKED OUT ECONOMIC PLAN TO RESTORE GOOD FINANCIAL INCOME.
OOC: Well, thanks. I do write fiction and produce a newsletter monthly, so I love to imagine and act the reporter - so hopefully many good stories to come.

The Prime Minister announced that the Government had applied to have Kanvers join the North Atlantic Defense Coalition, or NADC. The announcement comes a full three years after all those in Kanvers over 18 were permitted to vote on whether or not to join the NADC. 64% of the voters voted for Kanvers to join, but after a number of problems, it is only now that the PM has finally again stated that he has applied to have Kanvers join. The application should be reviewed and either granted or denied within a week. As part of the deal for the join, the Government will receive £6,000,000 in donation money. The Minister of Finance has stated that the money will go to the Military, Healthcare, and Education departments. It was also hinted in a Government statement that some of the money will be used for technological development. "BIG BROTHER" CRIME PREVENTION SCHEME GIVEN GREEN-LIGHT Two years after it was originally proposed, the "Big Brother" crime prevention system has finally been green-lighted by the government. The scheme will involve replacing all existing CCTV cameras in major public areas with full colour, rotation-capable cameras containing microphones. Any new cameras put into place after the switch would also have to be to this standard, and almost 1,000 new cameras have been confirmed for Pearlgrove City public areas alone. "This scheme will have a major impact on crime," the Minister of Crime and Policing stated in a press conference today. "For so long, our police forces have been crying out for such a system, and now it is in place, we are projecting drastic reduction in crime. These cameras will not only be able to see, but also hear life in the city, ensuring that any potential crimes are avoided." Bob Howard, a Civil Rights activist, has contested the introduction of these cameras, claiming "This is a proposterous invasion of privacy. Do we want cameras peeking at us, listening to our private conversations? Think of the teens, drunk, returning from a nightclub, flirting wildly with boyfriends and girlfriends. Think of OAPs, muttering about things as if noone can here. Think of the police officers, stuck behind a desk watching screens when they should be out there on the streets. This is a ludicrous and pathetic attempt to bring down crime. Today there are cameras being put in the streets; next they'll be peeking into our bedroom windows." When Mr Howard questioned the Minister of Crime and Policing, the Minister called the allegations "unfounded" and adding that "Mr Howard clearly needs to do his homework if he thinks we're listening in on conversations for the sake of being nosy. This isn't the Karma war, nor is it Axihechley. Perhaps Mr Howard would like to hand out sellotape to stick peoples mouths shut if he thinks we're here to ensure people aren't being rude about the Government." A television advert has already aired advertising the system; showing scenes of attempted crime being stopped after CCTV operators ensure police officers arrive on scene to prevent the crimes, generally in humourous ways, such as pulling up next to a car two youths are attempting steal and waving sarcastically at them. The advert ends with the slogan "The Big Brother Crime Prevention System - looking out for you". The Police Regulation Authority has commented that the system is not intended to replace police patrols, rather to supplement it. The authority added that the system was "more of a detterent than an actual stopper". PRIME MINISTER TRAVELS TO BOHOVIA FOR GLOBAL GATHERING From our reporter, updating live from Bohovia The Prime Minister has left Kanvers to travel to Lepage, capital city of Bohovia, for a global gathering exclusively for senior government officials from invited nations. The PM left in the new Prime Ministerial aircraft, an Airbus A350, at 1am, to travel all the way to the far-away country, a journey that would take 8 hours. The purpose of the gathering was to allow leaders of the world to meet and extend the hand of friendship; Improving diplomatic relations were high on the agenda and the meeting is especially important considering the recent wars around the Bohovian area. The A350 arrived in the main airport of the Bohovian capital at 10am Kanvers Mean Time, where the Prime Minister was welcomed in a glittering ceremony, with a red carpeted exit from the aircraft, in the glare of media cameras. A Bohovian official representative was there to welcome the PM, and the two shook hands before standing in front of their respective country flags for a photo shoots. Further shoots of this kind are expected to include the PM meeting with the Bohovian President. The representative and the PM were then driven away in a formal limousine; the Prime Minister was heard to laugh at seeing the vehicle and comment "There wasn't much point in bringing the XJ then!" Reffering to the black Jaguar XJ Prime Ministerial car which had been carried all the way from Kanvers in a military Chinook. The Prime Minister was taken to the Royal York Hotel, where he would wait until 2pm for the limo to arrive and take him to the Bohovian Presidential Palace, where the ceremony would begin at 3pm. He told reporters that he has "been made feel extremely welcome" and commenting that he "Is amazed at the fantastic hospitality I've encountered". He also told cameras that he was looking forward to an "exciting and diplomatic evening" during which he wishes to discuss key issues with global leaders, as well as hoping to "Have a great time". UPDATE: 2pm: The same Limousine which took the Prime Minister from the airport to the hotel has just picked up the PM. He will now be driven to the Presidential Palace, where he is expected to shake hands with the Bohovian President outside the palace for a photo shoot, before the event begins. UPDATE: 5pm: The initial opening speech has been made by the Bohovian President; the nation leaders have now been seated at a table and have been eating some fine food. The press are only permitted into the dining hall if they promise to focus video cameras on the host president and the nation leaders of their own countries; furthermore, cameras with flashes are not permitted and journalists may not ask questions. UPDATE: 5.15pm: The Prime Minister has just finished a speech. He stood up and adressed his fellow national leaders, and made his speech just in time for the KBC News programme, making it on to live television: "Gentlemen, ladies", he said, in his deep, measured, confident and calm voice. "I would like to offer my personal thanks to the very kind and hospitable people of Bohovia, and I would like to warmly inform you that every person seated here today is welcome to Kanvers at any time." He straightened his deep blue tie, his smart black suit remaining, as ever, creaseless. "We are here to extend the warm hand of diplomatic relations, in order to build a better future for all the people. We are here after recent wars; here to ensure that conflicts can be prevented in future. Today I made a decision, whether I should, or shouldn't, will, or won't, stand up today and make this speech. And now it is time we made a decision to ensure the fairest, and best future for all the people that do and will call our planet home. This is our chance to change the world we live in for the better. Today is our chance to declare our unanimous support for peace. We in Kanvers take no joy in war, but we do what needs be done. We must continue to voice our support for peace, but at the same time we must keep our nations secure. And we can only do this, my friends, in unity. And so, let us move forward into this new age. My nations motto - 'The door can only be opened once the spirit is free' - and now the door is open. It is time we take this step. Thank you." The Prime Minister's speech received applause, and is already being complemented around the globe. Immediately after the speech, the Bohovian President stood out of his seat and joined the dozens that were applauding the Prime Minister of Kanvers's speech. After the applause subsided the President made his way to the stage again. "Thank you very much, for that truely moving speech," was the remark the President made. A video was then shown promoting global peace. The Prime Minister's speech is receiving global acclaim. He is expected to repeat this speech, which was entirely improvised on-the-spot, after the ceremony, outside the Presidential Palace for the press that were not permitted inside. UPDATE: 7.15pm: The Prime Minister has endorsed the Bohovian Government's plans for a 'World Peace Conference' to take place every year, with any of the nations present at tonights event allowed to offer themselves as the host nation for the event one year. Reports suggest that the Prime Minister has stated that he would like Kanvers to host the event some time in the near future. This story will continue to be updated over the course of the event.
What does everyone think?
 7. OOC: Loving the overthrowing thing. Reckon its a great idea. I wont bother you - im gonna watch how this story progresses, but I wont take part without permission
 8.
The Prime Minister spoke over the microphone "Good Afternoon. Ladies, Gentleman, Delegates and Leader alike. I would like to formally welcome all of you, to this gathering, dedicated to promoting peace. To begin the afternoon, I will give a very short speech, regarding why we are all here, today. We will then have a large dinner buffet, where representative of each nation, can talk to each other, or talk to myself, about foreign relations, or about the weather. If any representative would like to speak at anytime after my speech, they are welcome to take the stage and speak their mind. Without further ado lets begin" The lights slowly dimmed, and a single spot light, was shining on the president. "No matter where we come from, we are all human beings. We seek happiness and try to avoid suffering, of not only ourselves but of our citizens. But, at the end of the day, though we seek happiness it can only be acheived if we enliminate ignorance, selfishness and greed. The problems we face today, such as war, or all human created, which can be resolved with human effort and understanding, or as we like to call it...diplomacy. Why should our citizens suffer, from comflicts and mistakes commited by the governemnt of a country? There is no reason and no excuse why. Take the wars that took place around Bohovia, against the Tahoe Republic, attackers accused Tahoe of being a rogue nation. Yet, while accused the government of being rogue, innocent civilians of Tahoe were killed, while the government faced little or no death counts. This is not fair for the victims and their families. There is no reason diplomacy would not work on a situation like the one that occurred in the Tahoe Republic. I understand, that in some circumstances, diplomacy wouldn't work, for example if the defending nation is rogue and is actively attacking another nation for no reason, but even in a situation like this, you can attack in a way that completely leaves citizens unharmed, such ways include avoiding missile strikes in areas with civilians or cutting off supplies to that nations people. In my eyes, making citizens suffer for a war between governments is a war crime and is unacceptable. This is why, in the effort for peace, I am willing to sign a Non Aggression Pact, with each and every one of the nations here today. You will never see Bohovia support a nation that purposely kills other countries citizens, and I dont think anyone here would. If were going to achieve peace throughout our fragile world, our first step, is to have more conferences like this. My government is currently organizing a program, that would see a gathering like this occur once every year (OOC: CN Year), that would officially be called the World Peace Conference, nations would be able to nominate there own country for the hosting of the event and officials would decide who is granted hosting privileges and responsibilities, the host nation would decide who is awarded the next World Peace Conference hosting. Every 5 years, the conference would return to Bohovia. This event is still in the works, and I encourage everyone here today to give opinions on this program. I pray for all of us, oppressor and friend, that together we succeed in building a better world through human understanding and love, and that in doing so we may reduce the pain and suffering of all sentient beings. Thank you"
The Prime Minister had wnated to remark on the speech a while ago, but had not wanted to interupt. Now, however, he made eye contact with the Bohovian President and said "I think this 'World Peace Conference' is a fantastic idea. I would like to have Kanvers considered as a future host of the conference".

 10.
Gen. Mohammad Faraz is dressed in a dark blue double breasted suit with a neck tie bearing the heraldic arms of Xinjiang Police. The warm reception received in one of his rare diplomatic missions had really brought the veteran cop to a pleasant mood. Now as he walked inside the artistically and luxuriously appointed Palace, Gen. Faraz looked around for some familiar face. He is new to diplomacy and is not rather wont to be totally at ease in such parties.
Prime Minister JimBob Brown spotted the general and shook hands with him across the table. "Mr Faraz, isn't it? Pleasure to meet you, sir, pleasure. I hope you are enjoying yourself? What do you think of Bohovia, then?
 11. The Prime Minister applauded as the video finished. He was still smiling as he produced a bottle of Kanvers's finist whisky, and offered it around the table, grinning at the Bohovian PM and commenting "Your people certainly know how to make a moving video", glancing at his watch and feeling sad as he realised the meal was nearing an end.
 12. No, this just isnt acceptable. We cannot not bump - however I am not actually bumping, I am referring to the excellent sport of bumping, which can be celebrated by using the simple word "BUMP!"

 14. While everyone was eating, the Prime Minister of Kanvers tapped his glass and got to his feet, intending to make a speech - one he would make up as he went along. "Gentlemen, ladies", he said, in his deep, measured, confident and calm voice. "I would like to offer my personal thanks to the very kind and hospitable people of Bohovia, and I would like to warmly inform you that every person seated here today is welcome to Kanvers at any time." The Prime Minister sat back down, as a smattering of applause was heard.
 15. "Good morning, you're listening to KBC Radio Mash. This is your daily BUMP!"
