    I offered aid to a new ruler who I put down on the OWF without intending to. This was my way of making amends to the ruler. I do not control his free agency to chose as he wishes in terms of who he joins. He came to us via his own free will. I did not force him to come to us. Here is all of our correspondence:

    I agree, new players that want to get into the inner workings of the bigger political sphere of the game is what we need to keep our hobby going. I just don't think its wise for someone as green as the OP to start an alliance without a firm grasp of how the game works.

    I would have to disagree. I highly doubt that someone at one day old is going to make an alliance that really goes anywhere. My observation is that both yourself, and the guy from Imperium are just looking to take advantage of a naive new ruler, and get him to come to join your alliance under the guise of autonomy. If that is how you guys are happy with recruiting, more power to you, but I am of the firm assumption that he should shop around for alliances, and make an informed decision on which one would be better for him.

    If you feel that you absolutely must start your own alliance this early in your time on Planet Bob (if you don't know what that is, you're not ready for your own alliance), then go ahead and give the following post a look, and read it over. It will help you start out on a better footing than this (I use this term not derogatorily but honestly) mess.

    Join an alliance, at your present status in the world, everyone will be asking you to join theirs. Join an alliance, and play the game a while while learning the world of alliance politics, and how to play the game. Then and only then, if you truly think you have a better ideology for an alliance, create one. You'll find that is the best way to succeed at this game.

    Do you have a charter? Or external forums? Or a protector? Or anyone you can get to help you find trade circles for prospective members? Or any sort of economic backing? Or ANYTHING? Seriously, I don't want to put down micros, but do you know what an alliance entails?
