  1. It is fairly easy to be cocky when you are winning so the true mark of a person is how well they come up with one line zingers WHILE their nation gets demolished.
  2. Somebody sold down just to engage me. I feel special.
  3. You can't win the respect of Cole Hamels by sucking up to Starfox.
  4. To list the mistakes: 1) Methrage considers it a MDoAP when Badlands considers it an ODoAP. 2) Methrage used the wrong flag for Badlands. 3) Somebody signed a treaty with Methrage.
  5. Look, you are either with Tywin or you are a lulzist totalitarian anarchist. Pick a side.
  6. I am patiently awaiting Tywin's alliance maps (nicely colour-coded please) to see if I am part of the civilized world or part of the lulzist empire. I figure I have a right to know.
  7. Join a mass-member alliance while you are new. Take their aid and get some training. If you stay active and become a good enough player then we'll come to you when you are ready for us.
  8. MI6 could have pushed for a surrender but it would have taken time. The top tier had beaten Kaskus and they were prepared to do it again and again. The problem was that smaller nations would need to languish in peace mode while we wait for Kaskus to buy back into our optimum combat range. White peace solved that problem. Now Kaskus can get on with rebuilding their nations and MI6 can move on from the distraction.
  9. He said we were laughing at your combination of no cash AND nuclear anarchy.
  10. There is a difference between bravery and stupidity. A 42 day old nation isn't going to fare all that well against nations with Manhattan Project wonders left over from their glory days. I'll have my chance, don't you worry.
  11. There is reality and then there is the place that Lord Hitchcock resides in. Kaskus was handled by MI6. The top tier engaged and concentrated damage on the targets that we wanted to hit. Any damage that MI6 took was spread out so as to have a minimal effect on individual NS ratings. The concentrated damage Kaskus took, however, dropped them down to a tier where they would otherwise been able to engage non-nuclear nations using the wonders they had left over from their former glory. Luckily our leaders think tactically and the middle (and lower) tier were protected leaving Kaskus with no juicy targets to hit. At that point it comes down to their choice of buying up to continue the war or just losing interest and planning for the next conflict. We executed our plan and we did what we needed to do as efficiently as possible. Yes, I realize that some want us to wreck our entire alliance trying to inflict 20% more damage but that just isn't the smart way to do it. Let the barbarian alliances fight to the last noob standing. We accomplished our goal and we did it in style.
  12. Your 76 posts is second only to Rey The Great's 90 (he probably likes me calling him that but now his ego won't fit through the door).
  13. Actually that would have worked better than the mess of a CB used for this war. You should speak to Unknown Smurf about that. His convoluted nonsense turned away allies that would have otherwise loved to join in on a sucker punch against MI6. Now, of course, it is too late to make that work. Yeah, if MI6 didn't use any tactics at all we'd be taking even more damage. Perhaps you should be looking at your leadership and ask, "Why don't we use intelligent tactics like that ourselves?". Of course, if that capacity was there then you wouldn't be in this mess in the first place.
  14. Remember who added the ghosts first. MI6 just countered Kaskus move to preserve balance. In terms of the latest member to join MI6, he is a former (and now current) member of MI6 that has come home. He probably missed the tea (or at least, the teapottery).
