  1. My two cents, as always. Because what has started as a quite civil discussion (I re-read the first few pages) has become the usual swamp of arguments, mainly because of the usual score of provokers who had no part in the war are acting because of their vetted interest in fueling this mess of hatred and accusations. And this is the real shame of it all. There is no point in cleaning all the mud that some people have fun throwing around: you just tire yourself and get your hands dirty.
  2. Attention, tech sellers. This is an announcement hosted by the Grand Lodge of Freemasons. And we are going to give you money for nothing. How is so? We want to establish quasi-permanent relations with small alliances of sellers, and use them as tech-sellers. To qualify for being a certified tech seller to Mason countries, we need them to register to our forum: http://www.square-n-compass.net and direct themselves to this section: http://www.square-n-compass.net/forumdisplay.php?7-Applications-and-Reception-Desk Posting there their availability. Please, follow the rules you will find within that section. With the registration, they will be qualified to sell their wares directly to Mason countries, and we are planning to fill their slots up at a 6 mils/100 tech rate. However as an added bonus, with the first tech deal (you will need to send 100 tech IN ADVANCE), another nation from the Lodge will send you 6 mils FREE OF CHARGE. Yes. This means that at the end of the first cycle, the nation which bought the tech from you will send you another 6 mils. And you will be free to continue to sell to that nation, and/or other Mason nations at the usual 6 mils/100 tech rate, with tech sending ALWAYS IN ADVANCE. And you may also get to know the Lodge. We are a nice bunch. And have also a gaming section free for all. See you there!
  3. Heh, Doc - stand in line. Now it's the Oculus-bashing moment.
  4. Sadly, no one of my friends in here has changed AA to help those poor alliances fight against the big, bad Oculus wolf. And what was the answer? Strategy! yes! And know what? It works both ways. You stay out of the war and don't burn your pixels, other ones go in war and burn opponents' tech. Want to do something? Then do something. You could declare on Oculus - we are just out of a war: what better moment to demonstrate your strategic skills and your courage? ;)
  5. Oh well, some people truly look concerned and all that jazz on the OWF. But when it's time to put their precious pixels at stake, they are nowhere to be found. I mean: if waging war against an alliance was such a blatant and mind-shocking tragedy, then why didn't all of those OWF-vocal people change AA and fight against the oppressors? This is a point that someone should answer meaningfully. But I am pretty convinced no-one will do.
  6. Of course - RVs damn right. Everybody knows that the OWF is infested with pathetic know-it-alls who spit out judgements about things they were not in and obviously don't know anything about.
  7. I loved the lecture about the species on extinction. I really did. And, well, I can't see this kind of "bragging" in there. Wars are fought on different planes: with boots on the ground, and with diplomatic accords. If MI6 had better diplomatic accords, they would have had more allies on their side. Alas, they didn't have them, and have been rolled. Not because they are bad fighters (some are, like in every alliance, but lots are not), but because they had bad accords, and no-one came to their aid (apart STA, which came in for TPF). This is why Oculus has won the war, and MI6 hasn't. To avoid recognizing this easy, basic fact is a futile exercise in rhetorics - and I'd happily leave it to the ones who like this kind of exercise.
  8. O/ to peace. Found some good opponents in there. And now, to rebuild pixels.
  9. Everyone is Master of his own destiny. Especially when he's buying tech from unsavory suppliers.
  10. Maybe they should publish surrender terms, no? Heh.
  11. Casualties are always good. They show your commitment. Have a good war - we know we will.
  12. My honest question is: how anyone in the world could be lovin' an alliance that has people like Auctor in there? It is blatant nonsense. And well, if history counts, the stance has always been - if you are hitting an AZTEC member, you are hitting all of AZTEC. Period. Something like what is happening with Oculus now. AZTEC has always been a (small) bloc with ties much stronger than acronyms. The relationship with TOP is old history, and has a lot to do with the worsening of their relationship with IRON (with IRON's improving with us and AZTEC).
  13. The difference between us is that you talk quite a lot on the OWF and I don't. As for "defending my friends", just ask around about AZTEC stance about that in the last few years. Maybe you have been too busy praising yourself to notice.
