I will admit, I did not read all 6 pages of this thread so if I repeat someone, I'm sorry. In the area of retention/recruiting I have noticed that some of the people I have brought over got upset over how slow things seemed to go early on and they simply got bored. I noticed that people keep calling for cheaper infra/tech. I don't agree that this should be done across the board. Perhaps make it REALLY cheap on the lower levels and have the price get to where it is at the higher levels. The whole idea being that younger nations can see fairly rapid growth sooner and it keeps larger nations from ballooning. As to the rebuilding, perhaps have your nation remember where it was before a massive drop and give rebuilding discounts until you reach that specific level. Rebuilding would be easier without ballooning the larger nations.
