[/quote] Oh, from what I've gathered peace was almost agreed upon before the entered with the exception of a couple AZTEC alliances. Genuine disappointment in not knowing what everybody else knew is fine. But that should be conversation to be had with their allies. I don't think you wash your dirty laundry with the way your friends handled something in the OWF. Maybe that's just my opinion. And, I apologize if it did. I'm actually far more fond of small alliances then big alliances. Big alliances can make really bad allies. They're hard to really get to know. I don't like it. Small guys will defend their friends to the death. Big guys lose that with size. And I certainly didn't view the non-AZTEC on our side as little people. NATO and TFD both have a size advantage on the Lodge. It was more of a little people as far as control in the situation goes. Obviously NV and AZTEC had most control over peace terms. NV was attacked, AZTEC is their Bloc. Perhaps it should have stopped with BRs post. I was actually impressed with the post. But it continued and it irritated me some more. So I also called for it to stop. Perhaps my anger at CD got the best of my words. But I was frustrated with the hijacking of the peace thread to talk about CDs communication problems with its allies. It's seems as if they've decided to stop now though. So my quarrel in this thread is done.

And it's not my fault I wasn't on their front. I prepared myself to get hit my MHA. MHA made the decision to not fight us for whatever their reasons were (though I have some pretty good guesses). I would have loved to fight on their front. No doubt MHA is bigger than Darkfall and AO, but I would have gladly fought them instead. Or I would have loved to fight all 3. No problem. More targets for me. But no, I do not trivialize their contributions. I don't know what they are. I only learned of their PM blitz from this thread. They were fighting an alliance I was not, my focus was on my wars and my alliance. I say they were on the fringe of the war. They were not in the middle. In the grand scheme of the VE-NpO war, we were fringe fighters too. But since our war was truly a Sparta-NV war (since Sparta had no CB tied to the VE-NpO war) we were the second line, they were the third. The third line is still important, but when peace is being negotiated for the front line, the third gets less consideration. It is their job to keep themselves in the loop. Again, I've done that before, back in Karma. I had to keep the Lodge in the loop because if I didn't make efforts to stay up to date we would have known nothing. That's what I criticize. They should know that they're on the fringe. The guys in the middle have to deal with a multitude of alliances. Again, they can't hold the hands of every alliance that's a friend of a friend. Now, I like CD even less after they tried to make a mockery of the Lodge's name and attacked my, and your, bloc on the OWF. Now tell me, who really trivialized whose contributions? [/quote] Oh I care greatly for the little guys. The Lodge was just a little guy when I joined. In current times it would have been a protectorate (heck, back then it would have been if we hadn't decided that we were not interested in such things). 1TF (now Colossus) was one of my favorite alliances starting out because of people like Auctor and Mayzie. I loved getting to know Bushido(now disbanded) when we became friends. I (and the rest of the Lodge) thoroughly enjoyed getting to meet Darkfall through this war. And trust me they are much smaller than you. The problem isn't not caring about the smaller alliances. It's about smaller alliances knowing that they're smaller and accepting that. I doubt AO or Darkfall were making the demands on their side. Not because their side didn't respect them, but because the larger alliances have more people to look after, and can, in fact, help the smaller alliances more after the war is over. Also, I hope your allies take note of your alliance's behavior in their own peace thread. Bashing peace after the fact for your own alliance is what I would call poor form. Also, bashing your allies Bloc is poor form. Finally, specifically bashing your allies allies (who have a higher level treaty with them) is poor form. I wouldn't have said a thing about CD in this thread if CD did not attack my alliance and my allies first.

You know what tires me out? Hearing about nothing in this thread except for how mad CD is. Let's clear something up here. NV gets hit by Sparta. AZTEC, TFD, NATO attack sparta in NVs defense. The Lodge is Attacked by DF and AO. A few days later TFD, NATO(?) WAPA (I honestly don't know who all is involved in this part, I just know WAPA is the important one) gets hit by MHA. CD then enters. What I hope CD realizes is that they were not a big part of this war. They were on the fringe of this battle fighting the fringe of the other side. If nobody came to you with every piece of information that is why. You were a fringe fighter. It's your job to keep yourself informed. AZTEC has one member that is tied to you. You are of no consequence to the rest of us. And as I've now learned from my Gov, you're lucky the war even lasted as long as it did. I'm sure if you would have asked ANYONE about what was happening you would have been told. I've played that role before as a member of AZTEC. You keep yourself informed. Politics move fast on Bob. And when we were getting an alliance to surrender I had to keep myself active and aware to keep up with the peace negotiations. If you're not prepared for that then that is your own fault. Again, you're a fringe fighter, and a small one. This thread is about the peace between a great many people. You are just a tiny fraction of this peace. either hail the peace or leave a grumbling comment about the peace. But don't sit here and drag out the same "We're CD and we're mad!" rhetoric for over a dozen pages. You protected my ally and I thank you for that. But you were in no way big enough in this war to warrant such relentless whining about the peace. Know your role in the future and then you'll be able to keep informed cause you'll know that it's up to the fringe members to stay on the ball. The big boys up front have peace to settle with the big boys across the battlefield. They cannot hold your hand.

But I am no fan of this peace. Unfortunately I've been on an extended vacation from Gov so I don't make these decisions any more. But I can say this. We came in to defend NV from the unwarranted war launched against them by Sparta. Sparta has made peace with them. Therefore I'm done to. Believe it or not, that means that Every alliance on our side except for NV is in the EXACT same position as you. And if NV wanted to give their friends peace and take peace themselves, then that is their call and their right. You have nothing to complain about. We all accomplished our goals here. Sparta got to say they won. Everybody still knows they're a joke. We all get to go home and prepare to aid our other allies once they exist the war with rebuilding funds. Or did you forget that you can support your allies in more than one way? Or hey! Try negotiating them a peace deal that works in their favor. Allies are good for more than a shield.

I heard a theory. It goes like this Doomhouse declares war on NPO cause they hate them because they are the old evil. All of NPOs allies see this and think "gee, GOONS is annoying and nobody likes them either. HEY! I got it! We'll only fight them as a satire to the very war they declared." Rather brilliant if you ask me.
