The merger with INT was a hastily declared thing that fell apart almost as soon as the deal was struck. BFF never went away, we just recently realized that lots of people thought we didn't exist anymore so we felt the need to re-assert our existence.

For the curious, the title was supposed to be "BFF: A Scientific Discovery". So yeah, fuck off.

Researchers at Pikeville College, Kentucky, (in between drunken brawls with Federal revenue agents) announced a major discovery yesterday, asserting that an alliance previously thought to be extinct had in fact been cited rooting through a dumpster behind a local KFC restaurant. Though disheveled and having what the scientists termed "crazy eyes" , the local BFF population appears to have stabilized and appears to be on the road to recovery. Whether poisoned moonshine stills were responsible for the demise of this once numerous species could not be confirmed at the time of publication. P.S. Dear Chax, I was with you at the beginning of your CN career in the old Commonwealth of New England. The first post you made apart from your application was something hugely retarded. I believe it was a comment on a Ministry of Defense thread and you said something fantastically gay like "I rise on a Point of Parliamentary Order Number 10 As per the United Nations Charter" and went on to say something even more nonsensical. That was many years ago. Little did I know that little homo and I would grow up to be super bros. We have done so much together in this worthless game. CNE. TCW. UCN. The deformed love child of yours called Europa. We talked about how we would either stick it out to the end or do something spectuacular in-game to simultaneously get us banned and have Deebo hang himself. We didn't want it to end this way, but here we are. In the end, we know who was in the right and I count that as a victory. Friend, I don't see myself in this game without you. Who will call me at three in the morning and explain that some acronymn I've never heard of has just jumped some other acronym and that we'll be at war in five minutes? Who will text me with an amusing story about how much of a bummer Deebo is? Who will be terrified of para with me? You have nothing to be ashamed of and everything to be proud of.
