  1. Just to give you an idea of how low level of government a marauder is. I challenged for a vacant marauder position in finance on my 6th day in the alliance. Admittedly I have had vast experience in the econ side of things and at that time i was hyper active. However, I have no real power as a marauder. I can make plans, and can implement some things econ wise, but I must follow the goals as handed down from above, I do not create the goals or lead the alliance in any directions finance wise.
  2. while i prefer firefox. chrome is an excelent browser. (i wonder if admin has stats on how many players access CN with ie6 though...)
  3. verify that only you can access CN from your IP(some colleges are more ISP like and everybody has thier own IP, others are more business like and routes everything through 1). If you can't then I would suggest setting up something like openvpn to connect to CN through you home (assuming that there is a computer back there that you can do so with)
  4. I think i've seen ivan say somewhere that he never had a problem with baseballer.
  5. I meant strictly between IS and CG. Since CG has no treatied allies history is going to likely record this incident as IS surrendering to a weaker alliance that had no treaties (which is technically true).
  6. I think it was a poorly thought out trap. NSO beatup RAD, IS was pissed about it. IS knows that NSO doesn't like them and have been trying to piss them off pretty constantly for a while now. NSO has thier doctrine which states they could come to the defence of somebody attacked unjustly, so IS attacks somebody unjustly that seems to have no other protection available, yet somebody with enough OWF presence to make their unjust attack known. NSO dislikes IS so they'd come in swinging right? Of course an 8 year old child could see that trap.
  7. I love all the its a war, no its a tech raid, no its a war commentary. its not one thing or the other. All tech raids are wars, but not all wars are tech raids Tech raiding *IS* a CB for a war. Its not a very good one, and it might not be the CB for this war though as I'm not IS.
  8. I'm sorry, i don't feel like giving you a summary because you're to lazy to read the last 14 pages.
  9. I've been asked the same a few times. It does show the inexperience of the one doing the asking. Of course when I'm asked I either politely decline, or if I'm feeling nice I'll respond with something like "And how do you know you can even trust me?". What i don't do is publicly humiliate them. I find doing so is somewhat immature and actually reflects more on the immaturity of the ones doing the humiliating then it does on the inexperience of the one humiliated. So while I guess i could say good job IS for teaching them to not ask random people to be in gov, I think the way you have done so reflects badly on you.
  10. it usually is about 2% increase in odds. As far as one of the worst wonders.... i'd rate it above the AADN. Sometimes that 2% matters.
  11. I just wanted to say that even though i support NSO in their actions and that I think RAD screwed up my respect for RAD has raised slightly. This is due to how they said they oopsed, and are now just having fun with the war.
  12. Again, when the NSO nation asked to be attacked, did he say that the consequences of attacking would be nullified? RAD: DoW the OWF!!! YAY!! Anthony: bring it Jason8: ok, its been brought NSO: Ok, here's everything that comes with bringing it.
  13. Yet notice that NSO didnt recognize hostilities until a RAD nation actually sent troops in and caused damage to an NSO nation. Im sure that if RAD had gone and physically attacked nation upon nation upon nation there would be alot more than NSO engaging with them.
