We had no compelling reason to join this war - our allies involved never required our assistance, not did they ask for it.

Congratulations, cowards

AZTEC obviously. Those peace loving fools!
You can't hug your children with nuclear arms, Keshav.

holy crap it's Schrodinger

The main thing I've gotten out of this is that someone is owed a cookie. And that person isn't me.
And frankly, I think that sucks.

Vesp, we were prepared for this since the day MK merged into TOP. Vesp you should know from your time in NG that during wartime NG is very active alliance.
Hey, a RuffRyders sighting! Nice to see some of us still knocking around. :)

Now I'm only a popcorn eater with no dog in this fight, but that's just a hell of a DoW image right there
-
Hey, it's TKF.

Aww, sorry to hear. Have been "protecting" you all in two differnent alliances now . . .

The fact that you moralist people get up in arms about MQ attacking neutral alliances but have no issue with some dude playing a Victorian era African stereotype in such a blatantly racist manner astounds me. The hypocrisy is utterly amazing. He is trying to be funny by pretending to be an ignorant, half intelligible African king who is in actuality a laughingstock to compared to "real" alliance leaders. The very pretense plays on the idea that he is an uneducated and bumbling African. It's sickening.
Of course this is CN so I have no idea why I would expect better.Don't get me wrong not much of this bothers me one way or the other.
Couldn't you just as easily say he's making fun of Victorian stereotypes? I wonder. It's an anachronism. But I also wonder who has an issue with the whole "Mushqueda" thing. Seems like if one is an abomination the other should be too. This shouldn't be but it's almost like I can tell what alliance someone is or isn't in based solely where they fall concerning the outrage over all of this.

How did you word it in the other thread, again? If they scream loud enough, they'll become relevant?
Ha, says the guy with 6,270 posts . . .
I kid, I kid . . . everyone have fun with whatever you want to be doing here . . .
Also hi Yurrei . . . good luck n'at.

Hey wait, this is about MY alliance. Therefore it's awesome news. Or something.
(Haha, actually really like the DRN guys I've dealt with--glad this happened.)
-
How can we let such a thing happen?

The planet without a Valhalla seem unnatural and un-right.

Why and how is it condescending for us to welcome the end of the war with smiles and joy? It seems that the victors are upset and the "vanquished" are all in good humor, but it is not the job of us noble defeated to roll over and wait for death because of a surrender. Lord knows those now claiming victory never did so in their previous defeats.
Nah, not all of you man.
-
For all of the talk of working diplomacy and the interesting FA after the war, you'd think that people wouldn't be so fast to come in here and act like a bunch of condescending jerks so soon. You're making it tough to be a nonpartisan fence-sitter.

Pathetic Stat posting for the win.
The only thing missing was an eRuler. Well good for them, I guess.
Anyhow . . .
Yeah, some of the greatest individual wars I've ever fought in this war. And everyone on both sides (at least on my front) were able to keep it friendly and cool.

Had the pleasure of going a couple rounds each against Lavo_2 and Thors Hammer from TOP. I'd say we've been pretty even as far as damage overall. I've gotten the better of them in a round while they were able to rock my world in another round while they were fighting with Telchar (also from TOP).
Centurius and Fulgrim (again from TOP) were both quality opponents. Even with odds stacked heavily against them they kept bringing the fight.
Talisk (once again from...) was a particularly enjoyable opponent. Some fantastic banter was had throughout our encounter.
I'd give a shoutout to my other foes from TOP (and I think I had one against an Alchemy nation), but our wars were deleted and I don't remember their names. It's much the same story with these guys, though. Nobody has been rolling over in any of our wars.
Yeah, all of the the TOP-DT wars I've experienced/heard about so far have been pretty legendary. And civil too, which is rather rare.

The only reason I can think of is that the EQ is bad at war and has to use numbers to make up for their infra-hugging tendencies.
For some reason I don't think you're being sincere.
-
I don't consider you part of the victorious party either.
My mom thinks I'm a winner. :(
-
If you still congratulate them on their fighting prowess in three to four months from now, it will be something. For now, saluting those who surrendered is polite, yet often done with ulterior motives, especially by the victors.
Eh, my ulterior motives are that many of my friends live in that alliance, no matter what side they fell on in this war. They're good guys who did what needed to be done. Hopefully for most, that lasts way beyond the fruits of some forum PR push--and well after the last blackened rifle has been set aside in this war.

UCoN, one of my favorite alliances.
Good luck old friends.
-
They briefly left MK to join the alliance Doombird Doomcave, They rejoined us ~2 weeks ago. We are not at war with DT, NEW, or Sparta.
So they're rogues then?

Also sometimes underrated. Often in between. Sort of middling.
Definitely medium-rated.
