  1. Nearly 50 Tesla SPF 25 MW Solar Power Satellites have been launched over the past three weeks by CSRO using its fleet of Skylon Orbital Transfer Vehicles, The Tesla SPS Satellites which had once been a vital part of the Kingdom's power grid would now serve as vital resources to power the space infrastructure that CSRO would be building. Meanwhile the fleet of Pushpak and Advanced Pushpak Space shuttles are also deployed to rebuild the first of four Orbital Refuelling Stations. The CSS Ors A is being constructed at LEO orbit of 200 kms. This being the first major scale EVA project CSRO is doing in several decades extreme care is being done in the project. With the successful completion and validation of the CSS Ors A construction the subsequent ORS projects are expected to go through much more smoothly and fast. While the components for the launch of the remaining three Orbital Refueling Station are in the final stages of completion the fabrication of Space Dock Bhrigu is also starting at the various CSRO Fabrication facilities. The 55000 Tonne Space Dock would be a massive logistical challenge for CSRO to launch and with the loss of Equatorial Launch Loop CSRO is exploring alternate facilities for the massive launch operation. Meanwhile however CSRO has a regimented plan to launch a fleet of 10 GAL Space Tugs to facilitate the heavier logistics requirements in space.
  2. We are certainly interested in the rest of the treaty as it concerns not just the defense of the Kingdom but the entire continent of Asia.
  3. At the moment the Kingdom does not have any request. We do not seek any territory from Tianxia. We shall continue to be friends in the hope it shall one day become a greater partnership. OOC: No harm done, such are the nuances of diplomatic language after all ;)
  4. We hardly spoke any words of anger. We were just expressing our understanding of the situation we have with Tianxia. We never claimed to speak for the people of Sri Lanka nor did we speak of any referendums being held, we were expressing our hopes that a referendum may be held, a hope that we now dash. Please understand there is no anger towards Tianxia, just a resigned understanding of the situation. While we appreciate your generosity in light of the way these talks panned out it would not make sense for our nation to seek any territorial concessions from Tianxia. It saddens us to see that you consider our actions as unfriendly for we mean no such thing. We hoped through these negotiations for a means for improving our strategic security as well as sub continental cultural integrity. You dismissed our requests by stating your very valid arguments and we respect that. We hold no ill will towards Tianxia just renewed understanding of the ground realities.
  5. "That certainly is disappointing but perhaps if you conducted a referendum in Ceylon perhaps they may choose to join back into the Kingdom. We understand and respect your constitutional and parliamentary proceedings but we hope that a chance may be taken in this aspect. Perhaps the citizens of Ceylon may wish to be part of the Kingdom if such a question is asked of them. If they willingly choose to be part of the Kingdom would you deny them? We are most certainly disappointed at the way the territorial negotiations have panned out. We hoped Tianxia would be as sympathetic and understanding of our strategic and cultural sensitivities as we have tried to be towards Tianxia. Alas, it turned out different. The Kingdom would not demean itself by stooping to beg Tianxia for territory that it has legitimate claims on so we believe that ought to be the end of these discussions. We do not want territories that are thrown at us as scraps. You may keep the Lakshadweep as well as the Balochistani territories of erstwhile Pakistan."
  6. On further reflection we have decided not to press for the Foamullah Island. We would be happy to reunite historical Pakistan in Cochin. In that case the only contentious issue remains Ceylon. Would Tianxia be willing to reconsider regarding Ceylon?
  7. Ah! Hmm, might as well shelve the plans for launch loop then, not worth the bother. Next try for Star Tram :)
  8. The launch loop that we had built only had its Eastern end at Foamullah Island, the western end is an artificial island we had constructed west of Foamullah island in the ocean. As regards Ceylon, we hope you can reconsider your stand. Reuniting it with Kingdom would be a great boost to our territorial integrity as well as reuniting of two regions with thousands of years of shared culture and traditions.
  9. I think Tianxia has misunderstood our request. We assume that the Tianxian space elevator is a separate entity from our Launch Loop based on Foamullah Island. There is no reason why the Cochin Launch Loop should not operate alongside the Tianxian space elevator. We do not seek sovereign control over Maldives, just control over Foamullah Island so that we can operate our Launch loop. Since Tianxia is willing to cede to us territory that is nearer to the subcontinent I hope Tianxia would not object to Cochin taking over Ceylon? The historic relations and cultural links between Ceylon and subcontinent ought to strengthen our claim on the island. And while we understand the importance the Indian Ocean holds to Tianxia strategically and economically we hope you would understand the similar historical claims we have to the Ocean. It is not in Cochin interests to compromise on your security or economy, we dont intend to compete with you in the Indian Ocean but to partner with you. Surely the presence of Cochin power would only boost the Tianxian strategic security?
  10. While we agree to the proposal regarding the Tibetan region we would like to explain further our request for Maldives, especially Foamullah Island. The Equatorial Launch Loop that we had built was based there and Foamullah Island was a principal Space Launch Center of the Kingdom. The ELL especially had been one of the most significant investments the Kingdom had done in the region and it is disappointing that we would not be permitted to rejuvenate it. Would Tianxia recommend and offer any comparable equatorial region where we can build our launch loop which is vital in our nation's space ambitions? We are grateful that you can offer us Lakshadweep but we would reiterate our request for Ceylon at the least and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. As regards historical Pakistan, thanks to Tianxia we have already integrated into our territory the core South Asian regions of Pakistan, namely the Sindh and Punjab provinces. While we would not refuse the ceding of the rest of Pakistan to the Kingdom it would not compare with the strategic and national importance that reuniting the vital islandic territories would be for our national future. Even the claim for the Andaman and Nicobar archipelago could be cancelled if the other major islandic claims could be granted.
  11. "Thank you, Emperor Jia. The Kingdom's primary interests lies in reclaiming some of our historical island territories. These includes the Lakshadweep, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Ceylon and the Maldives. Due to the shared history and common cultures between us as also due to geographic and strategic constraints we would seek to negotiate regarding these islands. We also hope to reclaim the Burang and Zanda counties in the Ngari Prefecture of Tibet and the states of Nepal, Sikkim and Bhutan. Our interest in these lands lies primarily because of their religious importance in that the Mt Kailas and the twin lakes Manasarovar and Rakshasasarovar exist in this region. We also propose that the Trans Himalayan Railroads that we had built and maintained prior to the fall of the previous Kingdom be reopened to usher in a new era of Pan Asian trade and communication. We are also looking forward to reopening our former Antarctic research station at Station Gangotri. The territory currently seems to be under Tianxian jurisdiction. The research station housed some of our most prized research centers and we hope that we be allowed to reclaim and activate the region.
  12. "Ladies and Gentlemen, we have achieved much in the past few years and much more we have to achieve. It was a long path of progress for the first Kingdom to achieve its space infrastructure but we can beat them now. We have the infrastructure, we have the know how so my friends let us kick start CSRO's future," Dr. Govindan Menon spoke to the conference room in Trivandrum. These were the CSRO's space facilities before the fall of the Kingdom: Trisanku Space Station and Annex (MEO) - CSS Trisanku Dhruva Biosphere Facility (MEO) - CSS Dhruva Ashwini Research Center (GEO) - CSS Ashwini Bhrigu Space Dock (LEO) - CSS Bhrigu Orbital Refueling Station A (LEO) - CSS Ors A Orbital Refueling Station B (LEO) - CSS Ors B Orbital Refueling Station C (LEO) - CSS Ors C Orbital Refueling Station D (LEO) - CSS Ors D After the fall of the Kingdom these were occupied by Ceylon and later lost to the tides of history. Over the past few years we have embarked on an accelerated manufacturing process to rebuild these infrastructure in record time. The first component in this endeavor is of course to rebuild our launching facilities. Apart from SLC Thumba here in Trivandrum there is also the SLC Sriharikota, SLC Ahmedabad and SLC Ranchi. We no longer have SLC Dagring, our principal SLC in the olden days or SLC Urumqi. In their place two new SLCs are now in the process of building, SLC Bhuj and SLC Leh. The government has also assured us that it would be trying to get back the Maldives which would ensure we get the SLC Foamullah and the associated Equatorial Launch Loop. However we cant wait for the Foreign Office boffins to start our work. So let us race on. We currently have rebuilt a fleet of launch vehicles which would be sufficient until the ELL is rebuilt. This is our fleet right now: Skylon Orbital Transfer Vehicle: 30 Skylon Intelligence Platform: 5 Pushpak Space Shuttle Mark 1 : 5 Advanced Pushpak Space Shuttle : 20 GAL Skylark : 20 Let us convey our heartfelt thanks to our aerospace industry who rose so magnificently to the challenge of rebuilding our space faring fleet. We have already launched several missions so far but over the coming years we shall be doing an aggressive rebuilding program. Our goal is that over the next 5 years we rebuild our complete space infrastructure to match what we had in the previous Kingdom. To do that however we would have to plan things better. Our first target is to launch the four Orbital Refueling Stations, CSS ORS-A, ORS-B, ORS-C and ORS-D. After that we shall build the Bhrigu Space Dock. Then the new Trisanku Space Station, the Dhruva Biosphere Facility and finally our dream goal, the Ashwini Research Center. While this is done we shall also rebuild the Cochin Lunar Station Chandra. And then we shall truly spread our reach to even more ambitious programs. My friends, so let us work together and make our dreams into reality.
  13. The convoy of trucks had roared past Rohru with tight security. The single lane road turning off the NH 72B towards Rohru in Himachal Pradesh is under the tightest security. Over the past 48 hours camouflaged BTR99 had been deployed to the region under the cover of darkness to provide security for the convoy that would come. A squadron of LCH Piranha Attack Helicopters had also flown in and had split into squads along the route. They too were now hidden behind the peaks along the route waiting to provide fire support. Above them a flight of 4 Jadayu Mark 4s are also loitering at high altitude to provide cover with the rest of its squadron at ready status at FAB Shimla. The Royal Cochin Defense Forces is taking no chances. The movement of these military units and also the convoy had been planned with great care to ensure the lowest satellite surveillance over the region. As the convoy slowly snaked its way through the rough mountain roads it finally entered the mouth of a giant manmade tunnel. The secretive base had been reopened recently albeit only for a short time as the recent events dictated. Over the next few years the Strategic Command personnel at the base moved the cargo that had been brought over by the convoy. Nearly the entire Nuclear arsenal of the Kingdom of Cochin, especially the warheads of the Strategic Artillery Corps had been brought here for storage. With the SAC all but disbanded with its principal tasking cancelled by the Royal order the nuclear warheads controlled by Strategic Command are now being mothballed. After the entire cargo had been stowed away the final evacuation siren had been rung and entire personnel started moving towards the trucks in which they would leave the base. As the convoy left the newest team of engineers working on the base also started their final taskings. To seal the internal chamber completely the nearly 2 kilometer long tunnel from entrance to the storage base would be filled with concrete. The Strategic Engineers Corps personnel would ensure that only the Kingdom shall be able to access these resources ever again. Similar scenes are replicated in smaller scales in other parts of the Kingdom as secret Nuclear Weapons fabrication facilities are being mothballed. In all cases the personnel are evacuated, the equipment stored away with extreme care and the base itself sealed off. By the end of the week as all the bases would become closed the Kingdom of Cochin would once again become a non nuclear nation, voluntarily.
  14. Nuclear Disarmament Policy The Kingdom of Cochin hereby proclaims that it shall cease its nuclear weapons programs. The Kingdom shall cease further production of nuclear weapons and shall also dismantle our existing nuclear arsenal in compliance with Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty and Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty . The Kingdom's Strategic Rocket Forces shall hitherto be disbanded. All strategic nuclear delivery systems would hitherto be converted to conventional munitions capabilities. The Kingdom of Cochin proclaims to the world its commitment to Total Nuclear Disarmament. In the eventuality of the Kingdom being subjected to a nuclear attack the perpetrator would be subjected to a Total Conventional War waged with full strength of the Kingdom.
