An announcement from the Ruling Directorate of the Progressive Directorate of China:
"Due to the failure of our policies, and the supposed collapse of our isolationist stance, we have decided to give up our sovereignty to our good neighbors the Kingdom of Cochin, in the goodwill of our people. With that said, we wish our people good luck with their lives, and we will continue to endeavor to create greater futures. In other news, the supercarrier Yudi is now under the control of Cochin forces."

OOC: That didn't take long.

With the anarchy in Progressive Directorate of China, the Kingdom of Cochin declares a protectorate over its territories. The 6th Mechanized Division has been deployed to reestablish the Cochin Protectorate over the region.

The 6th Mechanized Division would be supported by the RF06 regiment of JM1s. A team from Royal Cochin Navy shall be dispatched to the super carrier Yudi which would be temporarily docked in its home port.

OOC: You better hope that penchuk doesn't return today cause with this you'll be screwed in England.

IC: We are saddened to see the fall of the creator of the Railway that we have taken part in, but we applaud Cochin's swift action in this matter.

"Zargathia supports this move by the Kingdom of Cochin. Will you be filling in for the former PDC in terms of the Inter-Asian Railway as well?"

"The Inter Asia Rail Project would be continued as before, any pending work would be finished and all efforts would be made to bring the whole network operational."

Merats from RCAF are now flying over PDC territories broadcasting the peaceful intentions of Cochin. Several teams of Government and military officials are flying to various cities of PDC to confer with the local officials to effect a smooth transition of organization.

Meanwhile the helicopters of Royal Madras Regiment aka 6th Mech Divn are flying ahead of its ground units scouting out terrain and also blaring out messages for the people of PDC.

Train loads of food and medicine are being readied at Xining and Lhasa so that they could be sent at moment's notice to the reestablished Cochin Chinese Protectorate.

Well that wasn't surprising.

The super carrier Yudi is now being sailed to the RCNB Gosree for secure berthing there. It shall be escorted by the cruiser CR04 - CNS Excalibur and frigate FR04 - CNS Patton of the Royal Cochin Navy.

The Kingdom of Cochin announces the complete securing of the Cochin Chinese Protectorate. Military of the former PDC have been constituted as civil defense units and their heavy weapons have been warehoused under guard of Cochin units. The Cochin Protectorate Administration is now working with the administrative bureaucracy of the territory to maintain proper order and stability. The 6th Mechanized Division is now conducting route marches through all the towns and villages of the CCP.

The Supercarrier Yudi has now reached Gosree and shall be berthed at one of its long term docks. Its escort ships are now returning to the various ports of PDC. Royal Cochin Navy has commandeered the coast guard units at these ports to maintain continuance of law and order.

The Cochin Protectorate Administration also announced that it shall extend S-RECO coverage over the whole of Cochin Chinese Protectorate. For that purpose a consignment of 50 S-RECOs have been delivered by the Quarter Master Command from National Reserves.

Kingdom of Cochin announces that the average citizen of Cochin Chinese Protectorate would experience no change in lifestyle or comforts from Cochin Administration. The rules and laws of Southern Tang would remain enforced here.
