Announcement from Furon
With the recent protectorate declared over Palintine from the People's Republic of China, and discussion with the PRC, Furon has chosen to annex the island of Taiwan, and integrate within the Socialist Republic of Furon. A small garrison of 500 men is being moved to the island, to ensure its protection.
We wish the Taiwanese the best, and will be holding democratic elections within the island for their representatives within the Republic building, in Tokyo.

"Taiwan is out of PRC's sphere of control, as such by private means we invited Furon to take control over the Island of Taiwan, and as such they decided to annex to Taiwan."

"Zargathia was under the impression that Taiwan was a region belonging to the former Korean Empire, therefore currently being a part of Rebel Army. We shall withhold from issuing a statement on this at this time, instead opting to wait for the reaction of Rebel Army to this news."
