Anyone watch this show? Stars Nathan Fillion (of Firefly) as a crime author who shadows and assists the NYPD with...oh hell, it's the same exact dynamic that The Mentalist and Psych are based on, quirky civilians assisting cops in investigations.

I actually like this one better than the former 2, because the first is...well there's less synergy between the cast, it feels like Simon Baker is carrying the whole thing, the second because it's got mostly that awkward humor that, for some reason, causes me to be more embarrassed than entertained.

The actual reason I bring this up now is because I watched the Halloween episode and was delighted by the Firefly throwback from the first scene. If you haven't heard of it, it's one of the better shows on Monday nights, and it's on ABC.

I was laughing for the whole first minute of the episode.

"didn't you wear that like five years ago?"

Castle is fantastic for being a cheesy cop show. The halloween episode was particularly choice.

I miss firefly.........a bit hokey sometimes but still a very interesting show. The writer really managed to create an interesting universe.
Lamuella
I like it a lot, largely because Nathan Fillion is wonderful at chewing the scenery.

The supporting detectives (not Beckett) aren't bad either.

That is a great reference. I think I'll watch this show. When is it on? Time wise.
Arcturus Jefferson
Monday at 10 EST.

You can watch the last 5 episodes on Hulu or ABC.com (I believe it's one of those rolling things where it's always the most recent 5). ABC.com requires a weird plugin but has slightly better resolution. I go to Hulu.

he's in the wilds of canadia, and may not get ABC. I think CTV has it, but I don't know when it's broadcast.
Linden16
For me in BC it is on A Channel, which I think holds the broadcast rights for the whole country, and unfortunately it does not air the episodes on its website.

I have watched the show since the first episode of the first season, because of Nathan Filion.

Castle? I love it.

Also, forget Hulu, use Ninjavideo.
