Since there's a anime poll made earlier that's just....fail, I've decided to create a poll that stereotype free and asks the right questions (would ask more but can't go over 3 and I dare not make another poll b/c I'd be pushing it)

anyway, for me - I really watching some of the not so old school animes in the past (DBZ, some Gundam, whatever was on TechTV's anime unleashed and some other ones) also watch Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, FMA 1 and Samurai Champloo early on though didn't really have an interest til my bro bought "Love Hina" (1st venture into manga) and I later collected "Rurouni Kenshin" manga/anime (classic) and then I dove headfirst into looking at various anime/manga after I got over of high school and haven't look backed since (seen/read a lot since then, best to view myanimelist for how much I've seen)

what about the rest of CN?

edit: forgot about favorite genres, silly me anyway, I could be seen as a "jack of all trades" - I'll like anything so long that's it good and keeps me interested - pretty much it really

Also, change that seinen. It isn't mature boys, it's adult males. Same for josei.

I guess I would call myself mostly an Adult Swim anime fan.

I started by buying DB volume 14 in German for €2 and carried on with that collection until I had all 42. (dont think I have ever been as excited over something arriving in the post since...). I guess I like shonen and seinen equally, but I put down the latter.

Hmm, technically ten years, since I watched Evangelion back in 1999 or so. It was a terrible format, though. Didn't really get started, though, until friends supplied me with Love Hina (Kenadian's avatar sent me on a heavy nostalgia trip) and that spread to Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Ah My Goddess, and so on.

I don't really have a preference, but if you can find a pattern, be my guest.

I was literally just bored one day and decided to start watching anime. I've now been sucked into the abyss.

I saw the mainstream anime, it turned me off from anime for years. Eventually one day I saw the Trigun dub on G4Tech TV, thought it was cool. Later on (a little over a year ago) I figured out that Trigun was actually anime, and wasn't utter crap like the mainstream stuff. Then I saw Code Geass and Macross Frontier, the rest is history.

Saturday morning dubs back in the day of Dragonball, then Toonami with Outlaw Star, RuroKen, and DBZ.

Query: Were you there when it was just Moltar and the alien probe on the lawn chair?

I just moved to the Boiler Room. The anime thread goes too fast, and has too many spoilers (I tend to build up a buffer of anime when I'm busy)

My story is about the same, I watched some mainstream stuff (Just Gundam and DB until years later) and while looking for a site to stream/download a Gundam series I found more anime and got sucked in.
