On October 29, 2009 the Family informed Sparta of our decision to cancel our treaty. The cancellation period of 72 hours has expired.

Reasons were given in private channels. However, I know that enquiring minds will want to know therefore, the reasons are lack of communication, separate Foreign Affairs goals, and the initiators of the treaty are no longer members of their respective alliances and no one from either side stepped up to keep it alive.

The Family is pretty damn badass. I wouldn't put it past them. I would also put money on it that they'd win.

I'd rather see a dying treaty get canceled before it becomes a problem.

Looks like this was done right, and in that respect I'm glad to see this happen before it becomes a serious problem later. That being said, it always sucks have a friendship drift apart as such, and I wish you both the best of luck.

I thought it was MHA, but I could be wrong. Never the less I think even protectorates can drift apart from their protector in time.

That said, I wish both the best, these things are not easy but I fully support in canceling them when the spirit is not behind the paper.

The Family was never a protectorate we started out with treaties with MHA and Sparta.

Good to see that some people can stay classy in a cancellation.

Cancellations are never easy, it's nice to see the parties involved can at least stay cordial. Wish it were the same for everyone.

Some are easier then others and honest opinions hold a lot of value.

Of course that's hard to see from atop a high horse.
