The Kingdom of Cochin is distressed at this upheaval taking place in Southern Tang and hopes that whatever change is occurring is reflective of the interests of its people. We hope this new government would not mean a change in Southern Tang's international policies and stances.

Foreign Affairs Minister Mochitsura Hashimoto landed in Kumming, thanking the pilot of the private Furion plane. The wizened man squinted his eyes, as he looked around for the PDC Official, spotted him, and walked towards him briskly, with his hand outstretched. "Mochitsura Hashimoto, Minister of Foreign Affairs for Furon. Pleased to make your acquaintance," said Mochitsura.

"Of course, [Insert Nikonov's Character Name Here]," said Mochitsura, before seating himself at the meeting table. "I'll admit, I, personally, was a little surprised that you invited us to a meeting. I wasn't expecting for the new Southern Tang-PDC to wish to speak to us, as we were never diplomatically connected.
In any event, although I may be being blunt, what is the point behind the meeting, if you don't mind me asking?" asked Mochitsura. "I've found that being straight to the point in Foreign Affairs can help wonders," he said, grinning.

"We see your nation as quite similar in structure as our new government, and we also find our goals to be very similar to yours. Thus, it becomes in our joint interest to promote greater bilateral ties."

Mochitsura frowned in thought, before saying, "Greater bilateral ties you say? And just what kind of things would that include?"

"Though we had warned the Emperor for these protests, we are relieved to hear this governmental reform happened without violence or bloodshed. We hereby congratulate both the Emperor and the CPP on their willingness to negotiate with one another regardless of the circumstances."

"His Majesty Kachiyuri Michuraza cry's of the loss of yet another Imperial Monarchy in Asia, but still hopes that this new government still holds our treaty we had with your old government of Southren Tang. "
OOC:I went mentally insane after reading this lol.

Adam Brody left to Kunming.
He landed and looked for the PDC representative and was surprised to find a Furion representative there as well.
"Good Day men."

"Promised Land is saddened to see another nation leave the AUP, but if it no longer servesibn your best interests, this is undoubtedly the best course of action. In any case, we are glad to hear that this transition in government is peaceful."

"I mean maybe a strong treaty tying our nations together. A MDP, perhaps?..."
***Brody walks in***
"Ahh, Mr. Brody. Its glad to see that the PRC has accepted our request so soon! Please, sit down with your Furonese breathren and we can discuss this together."

"While we are honored that you would propose an MDP, it is nonetheless a 'big' treaty, as far as treaties go. Before I give my decision though, what are you reasonings behind an MDP? We've done nothing to communicate between each other, or even have any sort of relations, outside of the Hae Dae Fung (>_> SP) conflict," said Mochitsura.
"Ahem, Furion, sir. Hello, Adam," said Mochitsura, greeting his Chinese counter-part.

"Hmm sorry, guess I didn't get the memo of the name change. Anyways, what was this discussion about? "
comrade nikonov
Nov 3 2009, 02:19 PM
"Sorry. But we were just discussing a possible MDP. Our request for an MDP is based on the fact that our government sees to yours as an example, and we would wish to develop much bilateral ties together in the future."

"Furon would like to thank the PDC for seeing ours as an 'idol' government, and it honors us to no end. Currently, however, you have treaties with several nations that we have had...disagreements with.
Due to this, we cannot sign an MDP with the PDC...," said Mochitsura, looking slightly crest-fallen.

"I think we're done here, [insert Niko's character name here]. It is astonishing how fast that you would be willing to abandon former allies to preserve your own sovereignty. As such, if you don't mind, I shall be leaving as soon as possible. It was a pleasure to meet you, and good day, Mr. Brody," said Mochitsura, rising from the table.

"I'm quite sure this wasn't as fast of a turn around as you may think. Why, then did we leave the AUP?"
He turns around.
"Mr. Brody, as you can see, the Furion representative was not very pleased. I say we discuss a trade treaty to establish a basis of friendship among our too nations, and be done with it.
