So, apparently, Jeopardy recently had an "Economist" category.
Oh man. This is lulzy and win-worthy and epic.
http://austrianeconomists.typepad.com/webl...ar-culture.htmlToo bad they didn't get to the $2000 question.
I got all of them right, naturally

I didn't know the one about the curve. =/
But wtf? I'm shocked that none of them knew Adam Smith.

The Laffer's Curve one was the only one I recognized and went "ohhh, I know that guy" after they gave the answer. But it figures the last one was Friedman. I blame the Boiler Room for this unwanted economics knowledge.

I didn't get the "curve" question right, but I got the rest of them right.

Never heard of Laffer and didn't know Friedman had his own TV show.

I got all but the first one right, all thanks to my Macroeconomics class in my junior year of high school (even though I almost failed it

).
Though I made educated guesses on the Smith and Friedman questions.

I got all of the questions except for the "Curve" one right. You have to think, if they couldn't get any of those questions right, how could they have managed to get on Jeopardy in the first place?

I used to know all about Laffer curves, but what I call "Word association block" entered my head, and all I could think of was the Meniscus curve.
