His attack today was uncalled for, stupid and irresponsible and he has subsequently been banished from several forums and IRC

Polaris is now at war with UEC and will remain so until said nation reaches ZI. All alliances are given fair warning in this matter, aiding a nation we are at war with in these circumstances will not be viewed amicably. OOC attacks on our community will not be tolerated.

We should start a tally of the number of times Ursarkar has, over the years, tried to hurt the New Polar Order. I suspect it would number more highly than just about anyone else in CN.

He's to be ZIed for attempting to hack our private IRC channels with brute force attacks. We were informed about the incident by an IRCop. This is posted in an OOC forum because the attacks skirt the line between OOC and IC, but we won't tolerate hacking of our private channels by people who have a history of mischievous behavior. We gave him a second chance after spying on our private forums; this is what zero tolerance means.

If you want to argue about the IC/OOC line, then I would consider vital alliance communication channels, both IRC and forums, to be at least to some extent in the IC realm; compromising their security on several occasions culminating in this evening is essentially an attack on the alliance. I would say there are both IC and OOC components to this, and that our tolerance of Ursarkar up to this point has been extremely high - for example, he received only one week of war after spying on us for an extended period of time. The fact that we are at the end of our rope should not surprise anyone.

I guess that's why the IRCops caught him.

I'm pointing out that your credibility is shot from when you lied about doing something against Polar before to avoid the consequences. Nobody believes you, UEC. You've proven that you can't be trusted, at all.

Ordinarily, I think Polar would take your word for it. I would as well. However, they have evidence that you have done so from an IRCop, and coupled with your response to the last incident (claimed you did not spy until the very end), makes it much harder to take your word at face value.

I think that may have been the problem for me, the IRC companion turned on when I turned remote on so the slap scripts could work.
