Who would u attack? Can be an alliance or nation

While I have never been a rogue, I have led a small alliance that got in a war with Sparta and the Family, and often conflicted with MHA and several other alliances. Although if I ever do leave the NSO, which I don't see happening soon, I will likely finish what I started. I hate having unfinished business.

I almost dropped my nuclear payload in the green civil war (GGA and GOONS nations attacking me) but we disbanded after only a couple days...
If I decided to quit CN I'd probably just find whichever alliance I liked the least at the time and nuke them.

If I ever went rogue, I'd be shooting for an ivanelterrible. If you're going to do something, you might as well do it right.
No idea who as that is context sensitive enough that it would probably vary considerably with time.

I certainly understand the temptation to throw caution to the wind for some rivalry, especially if a person has decided to take leave of CN. But, imho, there are more productive things a person can do with his/her nation than to go rogue. Offload tech and cash to friends, for instance.
Regardless of political affiliation, rogues are bad. Always. Glorifying the final suicidal act of roguery is not my cup of tea.
Rogues are never heroes.

I already did this.
IIRC, Philosopher and KevinTheGreat were two of the people I nuked; I cannot remember the others, since it was in January 2007. If I were to do it today, I'd probably shoot for the highest-ranked people I could hit in whatever alliance happens to have enraged me most recently, which changes more or less day to day.

I think the biggest problem with going rogue as part of some personal vendetta is that you're giving people that hate you a chance to let out nuclear aggression as well. The difference is that they're going to win in the long run and will enjoy the game without you afterwards.

I'd go out as a landmine with a twist. I'd leave my alliance, wait to get tech raided, and then go nuclear on members of the first alliance that raids me (i.e., members of the alliance who are not actually doing the raiding). Would require me to not go into anarchy on the initial tech raid.

No, I just said that so they'd feel special. I'm going to do as someone once told me, which was a very smart idea. I'll assign a few alliances a number, randomly go into an irc channel and ask someone to pick a number from 1-whatever, and whatever number is picked, is the alliance I go rogue on based upon the numbers I assigned prior.

My roguery will likely come in the form of deleting my nation, spying on someone, then seeing just how much hell I can raise on the OWF. I'm not sure why that's more satisfying to me than launching nukes at people who will have forgotten it in a matter of months, but it's definitely the way to go out with a bang
