When I first joined CN back in early June or so my DSL modem failed. It turned out to be the power pack so after getting a replacement modem, I just used the power pack from the new modem with the old one.

Anyway, the replacement modem was sent from AT&T and it took about a week for it to arrive.

I don't really recall but I think I logged in from my friends house a few times to check my nation during that week.

I want him to join CN (he thinks the real time clock is slow so he may or may not), but if he did would this be a rule violation? I mean I think I only checked my nation from his house a few times during the week that it took for my new modem to arrive and this was way back in June and all my logging in has been from my own internet connection since.

Would he and I be in trouble if he did join CN?

I think you would be fine as long as you make sure that you don't log in from his place ever again, and he never logs on from your place...and you shouldn't send aid to each other or trade with each other etc.

It sorta answers my question but could you be more definite? I mean you said "I think". Is that moderation done by people or is it done by a computer that like scans and automatically deletes nations if they ever had the same network? Sorry, if this question gets too much into private CN methods on moderation but I would be depressed if I lost my nation if the system did it automatically.

So would he and I be fine except for not trading/foreign aid with each other? Also, what about if there is a war? We couldn't fight the same nations? What if we are attacked by the same nation? Do wars fit into the not aiding each other part?

Astraia is right. You'll be fine as long as you don't aid/trade/war with each other or target the same nation. Answered, closed.
