I was looking around for trades to complete by trade circle, when I accidentally clicked on trade instead of message. Both me and the potential trade partner are on grey and when the trade screen came up it said that the in-team trading bonus was enabled -- normally is says disabled. So I was wondering if something in the game has changed.

There is no 'grey team', that option is the 'No Team' option. In which case, there isn't a team to get a team bonus for.

I do believe the actual team name is "none" -- which trips a lot of tech raiders and recruiters up. However, you completely evaded my point. I am on the grey/no team as was the prospective partner. The game normal shows up trades like this with the text "Disabled (No happiness bonus)" next to the team bonus row. But this was not the case --

Hmm, well I've never heard much of anything on actual grey trade attempts. It might just be that the screen shows like that but actually doesn't provide the bonus when you go through with it. You're feel to file a report in the Report a Bug forum.

Ran a little test with a fellow mod (thanks for the help ) and while the offer screen does say it is enabled, it gives no happiness bonus.

I'll give this a little push to bugs, maybe admin can change it so it'll say no bonus enabled or something like that when both are on no team.

Or just give them the happiness bonus. The no teamers deserve it.

"None" team trades do not receive a happiness bonus. I've removed the happiness bonus indicator on the trade screen.
