Small monument?

I can do that, I just need to know which wonder you're referring to.

I used a spreadsheet to make this. Most of the time (1-2 hours) was devoted to just collecting alliance stats and getting the alliance colors and stuff (copied from the sanction race for most and from the dominant color for others). The spreadsheet itself makes it pretty quick to make a ranking list.

We're doing pretty well with SDIs and MPs but we could be doing a lot better. Though I think our numbers are going up quite rapidly in these departments.

Good to see these stats as they help alliances quickly troubleshoot where they need to improve in terms of wonder purchases. A lot of newer players don't seem to grasp how essential it is to buy wonders as often as possible and what a huge advantage they offer. They just see the big price tag and freak out. That's why alliances really need to pressure new members from the outset to get their wonders up ASAP and really hold them to it. Obviously this is easier with newer and smaller alliances but it should be a top priority for all alliances regardless of size.

You should compare the great temple list to the great monument list. The alliances who have more temples than Great monuments know what they are doing.

Not unless you can guarantee that your people will want democracy until you buy that great monument. Personally, I bought the GM first because it irritated me to have to look at my nation and see that my people weren't happy with something. I could always change the religion to anything to make them happy, but capitalist and democracy are the govs to use. So the difference between the two is very negligible IMO.


Also, I am pleased to see that we are ranked so highly on this compared to where we were a month after our founding and to our ranking by score.

I was quite surprised to see FEAR fairly high up in a lot of the 'per member' type categories. I wasn't aware they had made so much progress on their wonder development in the last few months.

Ditching your allies after they get rolled helps your stats.

We need to improve our WRC count, but I'm liking our top 10 status in quite a few of these.

I think you might be missing a decent chunk of information. There is a greater than 50% chance that purchasing the Great Temple first will work out to giving you a happiness advantage over where you would be had you purchased the Great Monument first, assuming that you purchase them back to back and are managing your nation properly. If you don't purchase them back to back, you are almost guaranteed an advantage by going Temple over Monument.

The stats did seem rather strange as they were suggesting a lot of alliances had members with 20k infra.

I considered a pretty nation screen a higher priority than, on average, a fractional point of happiness.

Anyway we can have a monthly update on this thread Azaghul? I'd love to see how GATO has grown.
