When I looked at this question I got curious myself about the result of having nukes but losing your uranium resource. I do not think that Tocsii answered the question the way the OP wanted him to. So I'll reask in a better format:

If you have nukes but then lose your Uranium resource what happens to the nukes?

upkeep doubles.

The only difference is that you won't be able to buy any more nukes while you don't have uranium.
