In celebration of us surviving the elements for two months, we've decided to field any and all questions the world has for us.

Here's some facts about The Resistance-

100 members, 2.6 million strength, 620 nukes.

MDoAP'd with ODN and The International

ODP's with TOOL and TFD

We're Orange, and are current members of OUT. We don't mind being public with things either.

As you can see by this chart it's going to the right and up - so that means progress I guess... Though this chart doesn't have anything to do with our growth.

are you open to alliances and want to make some treatys sometime in the future?

I'd say that's a distinct possibility - however it's entirely up to our government.

We have maintained a steady rate of growth with some fluctuations of large nations coming and going between various other alliances. I anticipate an aid program that will increase this growth.

We do have a very flexible foreign affairs plan and a brand new (as of tomorrow) government to work out direction. I would say we are open to all alliances but open to treaties only with those that fall within the direction of our alliance.

Terminators.

I would have gone with something from TSCC, but I accept.

I think our place is to keep balance in the world, to defy oppression where it is found, and while being strong and reliable allies, not to take things too seriously.

Whether or not we've been accomplishing that is debateable.

Are the initial issues you faced with the merger over now? I seem to recall the OP being one of the people that chose not to merge.

Before the merge, there were members in MOON and FnKa who were against the merge. Discussions got heated, things were said. Members of FnKa who were against the merge formed Triangle of Dominance (now Norsefire), and members of MOON left. Since then, things have cooled down and we remain friendly with our former comrades.

Silent Fury was among one of the people who formed Triangle of Dominance, but he returned home a little while ago. biggrin.gif

When MOON and FnKa merged to form the Resistance the process was pretty brutal and absolutely no one knew for sure if it would work. We were waiting for an ok from some friends that we never got, we had two splinter alliances break away (TPE and 3oD), and that finally forced our hand where the two governments had to put our "CYA" (cover your $@!) policy aside and just do the thing.

Since then The Resistance has not only survived but thrived through a very tough time. Our member count remains between 100 and 110 people from week to week and we've been hovering at this strength for some time. We successfully completed our first elections yesterday and hope to announce these people in due time.

I would say the initial issues are over now. We now look to the future as a homogenous group sleep.gif

Where would you say TR falls on the CN political spectrum, whatever you define that to be?

We're on Orange, whatever that means anymore. I would say right now, comfortably out of bloc politics and keeping our web under control. Read: where ODN and INT go, we go. Where TOOL and TFD go, we might also go.

We're also trying to expand out to other alliances, not necessarily on the Orange Sphere.

I'd say it's more or less because we're too busy resisting NSO. And terminators.
