Tokyo, Japan - Furion Press Conference

"For quite some time now, it has been Furon's aims to eliminate the Dragon Empire, and the AUP, diplomatically or militarily. For quite some time, we have viewed these groups as the disease that has slowly led to Asia's downfall. For a quite some time, Furon has made allies, attempted to forge alliances, in order to ensure that not only was our sovereignty assured, but that of Asia's as well," said Prophet, standing at the Podium in a Press Conference.

"In recent days and weeks, we have seen the attempt of the Americans to destroy the Dragon Empire. While we may side with them, we do not wish for foreign colonization within Asia, not while Asian nations still exist. We have sided with them, we have even allowed them the very thing that allowed them to prepare for an invasion against the Dragon Empire. Now, as death approaches the Dragon Empire, we see the true colors of the Dragon's scales, just how far their cowardliness brings them down, deeper and deeper into the never ending hole." Prophet took a small sip of water, wetting his dry mouth. He pressed on.

"While Furon may be vocal and military enemies of the Dragon Empire, we do not think that any enemy, no matter how many disagreements we have with them, should be thrown to the level that the Dragon Empire has been. Abandoned by its allies in its most darkest hour of need, cast aside like a tool, a tool of convenience, of shelter. These nations are truly, spineless cowards, unwilling to at least fight in the name of a former friend, a former ally. We wish swift death upon those," said Prophet, gripping the podium tighter, as he prepared for the next segment of his speech, taking a deep breath.

"While we have wished for stabilization, the ever-closer looming shadow of war has further destabilized Asia. It saddens not only me, but Furon as well, that our Asian brethren could turn on each other, so quickly, in such a volatile manner. We see Hae Dae Fung, a spineless, cowardly nation who we disagree with, declaring war on Southern Tang and ME. We see Golekh warmongering amongst the Americans, our allies. While we do believe that destabilization of the Asian continent can be prevented, we must recognize the fact that it can only be prevented if Action is taken," said Prophet, a tear rolling down his face. He wished it didn't have to be this way.

He may have wanted things like this, some time before, but not anymore, not when all the killing and bloodshed had begun, over something so petty. He steeled himself, to make the announcement he'd been going towards, the entire night.

"It is with tears in hearts, and of weary mind, that we, Furon, People of the Lord of the Sacred Crotch, declare war on the Golekh Empire, citing our MDP with the Imperial Union." He paused, before going forward once more. "In addition, we issue the following ultimatum to Southern Tang and ME:

Halt your war and bloodshed with Hae Dae Fung. They may have declared war, but have done nothing wrong. It is Southern Tang who is the aggressor, who had been amassing troops on the border of Hae Dae Fung, calling HDF an unstable government, and a renegade. We note with a certain irony that we are defending Hae Dae Fung, but nonetheless, our ultimatum still stands:

Halt your war with Hae Dae Fung, or Furon will intervene.

Thank you, and Arkvoodle be with you."

Prophet left the stage, the stunned crowd silent.

Cargo Ships and other boats are being prepared to launch an assault upon Golekh. Tupolev Tu-160 Bombers and F-1 Shadows are being prepared to land in captured Golekhian airbases, upon their capture.

Meanwhile, a quintet of C-5 Galaxies, accompanied by F-1 Shadows, begin to make their way, through the quickest route, one that crosses through international waters, with the C-5 Galaxies carrying paratroopers, and two of them carrying Type-90 MBTs. The paratroopers are ordered to land, dig in, and cause general chaos amongst the Golehkhian forces.

The MBTs would be buried in the ground, in strategic areas captured by the Paratroopers, with only the cannon shown, for aiming against targets.

With your permission, we would like to be able to stop and refuel at your airbases, and if possible, use them as an intermediate point between Furon and Golekh.

Golekh was just defending the Dragon Empire, and it was our belief that the Imperial Union was at war with the DE. If our belief was incorrect, then we will withdraw our declaration of war upon the IU.
comrade nikonov
We have notified the Hae Da Fung of our hope for a joint ceasefire, but they have replied that they wish to continue the war. However, since we had already declared that we will not advance an inch further than the Tibetan-Sichuan border, no major Tang operations will be conducted. A defacto state of war still exists, but we are now attempting to start the peace process.
comrade nikonov
Also, we request Furon's help as a third party mediator for peace talks.

OOC: Which section are you attacking? Burma or Sri Lanka? Scotra or Antarctica?

The Helldiver Corps I (30,000 men) will be loaded aboard their gunships and launched against Furon, landing on Kyushu and swiftly isolating and capturing a few key points. 500 tanks and 10,000 soldiers of the 3rd Army will be moved in after them.

Purple is the Helldiver landing site, and the black are the landing sites for the regular troops.

OOC: Im going off till tomorrow so dont do too much.

The 7 Squadrons of F-1 Shadows escorting hte 5 C-5 Galaxies took up defensive positions, above the C-5s, as they unloaded their cargo. They would land near the beaches, in the southern tip of Golekh, before journeying back towards Furon. A total of 1,020 men would be launched, as well as 4 MBTs.

While in the air, gunfire and other anti-air erupted around the C-5s, causing casualties. Roughly 29 men died while in the air, while another 30 died on impact, due to problems with equipment. A tank was shot down, and another exploded on impact of the ground, leaving two of the Type-90 MBTs.

Kyushu

Upon spotting the gunships, (planes, I'm assuming) the F-1 Shadows of the Furion airforce opened up on the unguarded targets, like fish in a barrel, as one pilot would remark. Three squadrons of F-1 Shadows opened up on the incoming paratroopers, shooting at as many as they could.

Anti-aircraft sites along Kyushu and Honshu opened up, scorching the skies with gunfire, hitting the gunships and soldiers. The paratroopers that managed to evade the anti-aircraft fire and F-1 Shadows flying around, met resistance from Furion soldiers and marines disembarking from Kyushu, onto the Cargo Ships, disembarking to the southern-beach of Continental Golekh.

***AT THE MEETING***
Esteemed delegates from Hae Da Fung, we have agreed to cease our operations. We will also provide you with a proposal for reconstruction. Our national interests lie in Hae Da Fung's occupation of a few prefectures in Yunnan and Szechuan. If Hae Da Fung returns control of the prefectures back to the Southern Tang, we will be delighted. Nonetheless, the Southern Tang would wish to assist Hae Da Fung reconstruction efforts. We will also take full responsibility for the incursion into Hae Da Fung. Along with full diplomatic recognition, Hae Da Fung will enjoy our preferred nation trade status as well as right of way passage to Tang ports in the Gulf of Tonkin. Any thoughts or comments?
N Reeki
Tomo sat back, her hands in front of her. "Well, obviously we're %^$#ing angry. You'll have to take Yunnan and Szechuan from our cold, dead hands. We aren't willing to give them up, ever. I must wonder though, do you really think that we'll just end this war because you want us to? Do you really think we'll give up two provinces to the very nation that called us rogues and amassed troops on our border? Pitiful."
comrade nikonov
Uh... Perhaps your geography is off? We own 90% of both territories. You only had the 10% on the fringe of the former Tibet Autonomous Region.

OOC: Map reference is Sichuan, the one below is Yunnan.

"Well as we said... we don't need to have it. How 'bout the rest of the plan?"
N Reeki
"Well, I must say, you seem overly excited to participate in reconstruction efforts. I do have one question on the ports though: Do these include naval ships of military nature?"
comrade nikonov
"They could... *cough if you give us the rest of our sacred homeland *cough"
N Reeki
"Heh. You're funny. I'll make sure you're killed last. We're done here, and consider the war still on." Tomo leaves and makes the trip back home.

Furon does not constitute as the 'allies' and therefore, we are still at war until separate peace conditions are discussed.

The Delegate turns to the Furon Representative.
"So what do you want me to do?"

Keizo Ikeda slowly unsettled himself from the chair, wiping off any dust or fuzzies he could find on his suit. "Honestly, I believe your conditions were unfair. Albeit, the Hae Dae Fung ambassador was rude, nonetheless, you cannot demand land that doesn't belong to you. It's their land, not yours. Maybe if you had offered a white peace, we wouldn't be having this conversation.

I suggest you find a way to end the war, peacefully, in a white-peace," said Keizo.

He turned and left the meeting room.

You don't need to trade with them, consider them white on your maps if you wish, but enough fighting. Asian blood should not be spilled on Asian soil that to."

Since the collapse of Hae Da Fung, Tang soldiers have advanced to the capital to stabilize the region. Their leaders have abandoned their people, a truly despicable act indeed. Humanitarian aid will be flown in and trucked in from Southern Tang. Hae Da Fung will be supported by the Southern Tang until a permanent deal is worked out between the Southern Tang and the Kingdom of Cochin.

"Considering the alternatives, Zargathia will support this move to stabilize the region, on the condition that no further hostilities break out as a result of said negotiations with the Kingdom of Cochin. The outcome of this 'permanent deal' is to be accepted without bloodshed or aggression. If it DOES result in more guns being fired, Zargathia would see itself forced to intervene to assist in the preservation of stability in Asia. That is all."

Kingdom of Cochin recognizes the collapse of Hae da Fung and reestablishes Tibet as its 18th Province. We do not object to Southern Tang claiming the remainder of HDF territories in Asia. With that we hope stability in Asia has been reestablished.

The cargo ships arrived at the Golekhian coastline, offloading their soldiers and Type-90 MBTs. Due to the long-distance, and slowness of the cargo ships, meant that the F-1 Shadows couldn't keep a full-time cover on the ships. There was a gap in protection time, in which Golekhian aircraft could bombard the cargo ships. Thus, the cargo ships were moving as fast as humanly possible, attempting to off-load their troops and return back to Kyushu.

The Airborne troops were ordered to begin assaulting cities near them, in order to lure Golekhian soldiers away from the coastline. 12 Cruise Missiles were ordered to be launched from their silos, hitting key targets within Golekh, hitting first military stations, and if targets ran out, to hit anything vital to the enemy war machine, specifically, industrial areas.
Subtleknifewielder
"So you would rather waste lives and material to 'fight honorably' rather than accept a surrender and spare the lives of your soldiers? How utter confusing."

The Golekhi troops stayed within their fortified zones, which surrounded the cities and other strategic targets.
