QUOTE
Do a barrel roll. (519 Nigras) of the Green team of the alliance The Liquor Cabinet was attacked with a nuclear weapon by Op Hoop van Zegen (Denniswerf) of the Orange team of the alliance FOK on 9/19/2009 2:00:08 PM.

At the time I launched the missle I was wearing the 'Go Out With A Bang' AA. After nuking I got rid of that AA and changed my alliance to FOK (Alliance Seniority: 9/19/2009 2:01:25 PM (0 Days)).

I personally think that the Nuclear News report page should list the AA the person was wearing when he got nuked or when he nuked, because the person wasn't attacked by a member of 'the alliance FOK' but by a member of the 'alliance Go Out With A Bang'.

By sending AID of by declaring war for the next 7 days the original alliance is showed, shouldn't it be like that in the nuclear news section also?

Is this an actual bug or more of a suggestion?

Suggestion. Moving.

I suppose it couldn't hurt. Eventually it's going to cause some sort of issue in a negotiation on IRC. Like "he nuked us when he was under your AA....kick him out and lets ZI him."

Haflinger
Yeah. There are enough problems with the nuke reports screen (basically how it doesn't list the first nuke in the conflict), but AA shifting would lead to some bizarre situations with the screen.

I'd agree with the OP that changing that behaviour is a good idea.
ChairmanHal
The report should be a snapshot of the action at the moment the nuke was launched and hit, just as the War Search Results screen does.

Hmm I thought it wasn't meant to be this way, but in that case it indeed is a suggestion instead of a bug report smile.gif

I support this - I actually was under the impression this was how that page functioned anyways.

Either do as the OP says or remove the alliance affiliation from that information. Otherwise it's "disinformation".
Good suggestion.
