After talks with the emissary of the Kingdom of Cochin, the Duce visited the factories of SELEX Industries and he personally signed the contract which delivers to the Fascist State the first two long-range cruise missiles for conventional attack, codename " Vendetta " ( Vengeance ).


" These missiles, pride of Italian technology, will guarantee to Italica the chance to hit the enemy at great distances and they will form the nucleus of our Country's strategic arsenal. When Italica will reached the power and wealth needed to develop nuclear weapons, Selex must build faster missiles with less possibility of being intercepted. This afternoon Oriana Verdi and Andrea Sezaro, both Gianfranco Orsini's accomplices in the failed assassination attempt against the Duce's life, were neutralized and immediately executed by agents of OVRA. Their lair, identified in a old colonial farmhouse through the work of our informants, was quickly surrounded. When the two traitors have become aware of being trapped they opened fire with automatic weapons against the ten Secret Police agents; the agent Tucci was unfortunately killed during the fight. For his courage and his determination to fulfill its duty to defend the Regime, the widow and the son have received the Medal of Fascist Order from the Duce's hands as a reward for his sacrifice. The Justice prevailed once again.

The MVSN Blackshirts escorted Itsuki Koizumi from the military airport of Littoria and led him to the presence of the Duce and the Great Council in Palazzo Romano. The emissary was greeted with the traditional fascist salute from the whole assembly.

" It's an honor to have you here. My Government highly appreciates the trust you place in us and your presence here is further proof that our peoples can coexist although some profound differences in culture and mentality. Please sit down " said the Duce shaking his hand.

OOC: They're fascist. They don't really care about the actual concepts of justice. Like the whole thing in China about the criminal's only appeal being when they ask you "Left ear or right?" before they shoot you.

IC: We see more of your inhumanity showing. We have yet to see any proof of the original suspects guilt, and now you come up with his accomplices out of thin air? And they only manage to kill one of your agents with automatic weapons? We find these "facts" to be highly questionable. As per your agreement to let observers have access demanded by the civilized world, we require proof of their guilt.

Itsuki Koizumi sat down rather silently, but bowed to his hosts before doing so. Obviously these two cultural entities were different, one spoke Japanese, and the other Italian. Of course, Koizumi had a translator on hand to ensure all the words came out correct.

He spoke quietly to the translator in Japanese, and then smile politely at his hosts, with his eyes closed.

The translator prepared himself, and translated in his head, and began to relay it in Italian to the Duce.

"Good sir, it's apparent our Empress Haruhi has been watching your nation since the observers came back. As you obviously note, we are highly different, culturally. However, this does not mean good relations can be layed upon the table. As such, my Empress has a proposal for you, however she is wary of any defensive treaties outside Asia. Her proposal lies more under friendship, and trade."

" Your translator is very prepared, my lady. Regarding the proposal of your Empress ... my government is serious about having more friends than enemies in this dystopic world. Of course we accept your generous offer but ...we would request the signing of a simple non-aggression treaty. In return you will have free access to our market ... especially to our excellent defense technologies. We are able to procure missiles, agricultural machinery and fine craftsmanship. Obviously the choice is yours and nobody will be offended if you say no. We say that the non-aggression treaty would be the most appreciated gift in exchange for our goods "

Despite Teunas continues to show hostility towards us, our Government is happy to provide observers the following evidences in support of the guilty of the two traitors executed:

The translator exchanged the words the Italian had said with Koizumi in the native Japanese tongue.

"Very well, i'm quite sure such a treaty can be easily exchanged, Koizumi shall contact the Empress immediately, if you wish."

Itsuki contacted the Empress, after pulling out his cellphone. The Japanese could clearly be overheard, as could the Empress's voice.
As they continued to talk, Itsuki Koizumi received his confirmation. He was given the authority, as always, to sign in her stead.

The translator overheard the conversation, and began to translate the allowed bits.

"Sir, it appears the Empress has allowed him the right to sign in her name. Meaning, the treaty is possible. If you'd be so kind as to draft it."

" No problem, my Chief of Department for Foreign Affairs already wrote it. Consol, the Treaty, please "
Consul General Renato Foggia immediately leaves the Great Council room. He's back in few minutes with the Treaty.
" For your verification, Emissary " says Foggia, handing her the paper.

Good evening, friends citizens, this is Diana Vera. Do you remember the Palace of Victory, the place that would have accomodate the new National Museum of Fascist Civilization ? It exploded some hours ago. But never fear, friends, it wasn't a terrorist attack or an accident. The Fascist Government, after hearing the opinions of many experts, decided to demolish the old colonial-era building and move the seat of the museum in another location.
The need to demolish the Littoria's old architectural jewel was dictated by the poor structural condition of the building, totally unable to withstand the daily activities of a so important museum for our great Nation.

But let’s move on to other news. This morning, the Chief Department of Education and Fascist Culture visited the first school for children of Somalis workers . The member of the Great Council was greeted by a crowd of little children, who danced and sang in their traditional dress.
" The education and intellectual growth of our children are a priority of our Regime. We have invested significant resources to build new schools, in order to facilitate the indigenous integration with citizens of Italian blood " said the Chief Department of our ITN reporters .

The fight against militant antifascism continues. Yesterday and today fifteen traitors was arrested and the Special Court for the Defense of the State is working at full capacity. Ten of them are members of the banned Communist Party and they may risk 30 years of prison or life sentence. The OVRA Commander Alessandro Pagani expressed satisfaction and said “ All enemies of the State, especially the communist worms, will be eliminated before the end of the year ”

Koizumi pulled out a pen and signed the document, using the authority given to him by Haruhi, to sign in her name.

The translator had a short talk with Koizumi, and afterwards the translator spoke up, prepared to translate.

Good morning, Italica. Allow me first to apologize for this interruption. I do, like many of you, appreciate the comforts of every day routine- the security of the familiar, the tranquillity of repetition. I enjoy them as much as any bloke.
I thought we could mark this beautiful day by taking some time out of our daily lives to sit down and have a little chat. There are of course those who do not want us to speak. I suspect even now, orders are being shouted into telephones, and Blackskirts and OVRA thugs will soon be on their way. Why? Because while the truncheon may be used in lieu of conversation, words will always retain their power. Words offer the means to meaning, and for those who will listen, the enunciation of truth. And the truth is: there is something terribly wrong with this Country. Cruelty and injustice, intolerance and oppression, all behind a lovely mask composed for foreign newspapers. And where once you had the freedom to object, to think and speak, you now have a Secret Police and systems of surveillance coercing your conformity and soliciting your submission. How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth must be told: if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.
I know why you did it. I know you were afraid. Who wouldn't be? War, terror, disease, secession, independence. There were a myriad of problems which conspired to corrupt your reason and rob you of your common sense. Fear got the best of you, and in your panic you turned to our young Duce, Matteo De Falco. He promised you order, he promised you peace and independence, and all he demanded in return was your silent, obedient consent.


Last night I sought to end that silence. Last night I destroyed the Palace of Victory, to remind this Country of what it has forgotten. More than sixty years ago, at the last fires of Second World War, great men of the Antifascist Resistence wished to embed the April 25th forever in our memory. Their hope was to remind Italy that fairness, justice, and freedom are more than words, they are perspectives.
They free the Italian People from Nazi oppression, from the war in which the Mussolini’s Fascist Regime dragged Italy. It was the day of rebirth, the conquest of those rights denied in twenty years of dictatorship. It was the day in which crimes were punished and deaths avenged. It was the day in which the thirst for conquest of Fascism ended, after having built an Empire in Africa and Europe based on mass murder, deportation, exploitation, exercise of the most blind violence. But History does not teach, because everything is being repeated once again. So if you've seen nothing, if the crimes of this Fascist Government remain unknown to you then I would suggest you allow the April 25th to pass unmarked. But if you see what I see, if you feel as I feel, and if you would seek as I seek, then I ask you to stand beside me the next year, outside the gates of Palazzo Romano, seat of the Great Council, and together we shall give them a new April 25th that shall never, ever be forgot!

Somalis and Italians gathered today to greet the Duce's arrival in the new territories wrested from the Italian Republic. The streets are decked with the colors of the Regime, the anthem of Italica echoes in the air, all cities are celebrating the event. The Fieldmarshal Angelo Messe deployed his best troops, pride of the Armed Legions, to march on the roads.


The Duce, standing on his Lancia Titan, is hailed as the savior of the Fatherland by thousands of fascists greetings. A Somali child breaks the security cordon and approaches the Duce's car to offer him a bouquet of flowers. Good evening, citizens. At this time the Great Council of Fascism is involved in the approval of the new Charter of Labor, which will set a maximum limit of working hours and will include a system of economic rewards for more productive State employees. Chief Department of Propaganda Roberto Righi insisted to incorporate in the document also the obligation for all public employees to wear the black uniform. Particularly important was the Duce’s decision to prohibit underpaid child labor, an unfortunately widespread practice among the Somali population. The approval of the final version is scheduled for tonight. We’ll keep you informed.
This morning OVRA agents, helped by MVSN special team, discovered a clandestine print shop intent on printing antifascist brochures celebrating the terrorist V appeared on these channels a few weeks ago. The operation was bloodless and the prisoners are now housed at the Secret Police Headquarter for questioning.



We now turn to crime news. Last night Giovanni Freschi, PNF Chief Section in New Rome (25 km from Littoria), exterminated his family with a revolver. Police officers stopped the man before he could turn the gun on himself. Freschi was arrested and subjected to a psychiatric evaluation. The hypothesis of investigators is that Freschi suffered from depression for some time. The Secretary of the National Fascist Party Luca D'Orazio immediately “froze” his rank.

Good evening people, this is a special edition of TG5. The Grand Council of Fascism, after hours of heated debate, finally approved the final text of the new Charter of Labor, which will officially be valid tomorrow. Here the top six articles, exclusively for Channel five:

1) Work is a fundamental right of all the faithful citizens of Italica. No law, decree or regulation of any degree may contradict this principle. The Fascist Regime promotes all initiatives of any government and non-government agency which aim to encourage the free access to work of all the faithful citizens of Italy, without differences of sex, race and religion.

2) Slavery of any human being is illegal and fought without mercy by the Fascist Regime.

3) Underpaid child labor is illegal and fought without mercy by the Fascist Regime.

4) All public and private sector workers are entitled to a salary that can ensure their welfare.

5) The maximum working hours per day shall be fixed at 9.

6) All public sector workers are obliged to swear allegiance to the Duce, Founder of Fascism. All public sector workers must be loyal, determined and competent Party members. The black uniform is compulsory in all public offices.

Good evening citizens. A very serious event shocked the entire Nation and especially the residents of Littoria. The OVRA Commander, Alessandro Pagani, fell victim to a cowardly attack this afternoon while on board his own car he was on his way to the Palace of the Fascist Civilization for a short meeting with the Duce, currently engaged in the work of the East Africa Conference. The terrorist, a dangerous anti-fascist already on the OVRA Black List, passed throught the cheering crowd and had time to throw against the Commander Pagani's car a powerful bomb.



The bomb bounced on the side door of the car and exploded at about two meters from its target. Unfortunately, the explosion killed 11 civilians and 7 agents of the Commander's personal bodyguard. The Commander himself has been pulled out from the overturned car and transported urgently to hospital, where now he struggles between life and death. The terrorist tried to escape but he was stopped by an angry crowd and only the timely intervention of MVSN prevented the lynching. This terrible attack, which killed many people and perhaps also the Commander of the Secret Police, certainly is part of a subversive plan to destabilize the dominant order right during the important Conference chaired by the Duce. Just yesterday two protesters were arrested for waving in front of the foreign delegates a manifesto against the << fascist, imperialist, racist and freedom-hating >> policies of the Regime. As usual, lies, lies and lies. All the People of Italica supports the measures of this Government and puts his most unconditional trust in our Duce.

The first military units arrived in early morning in the Capital City of Italica. Their uniforms are full of shining badges and medals, their steps are proud, their eyes looking toward the future. The crowd gathered in Via dell’Impero since the dawn of day, awaiting the start of the grand parade of the Armed Legions. It’s November 4th, the Day of Victory. All the power of Italica parades today in the heart of Littoria, acclaimed by the entire People. At 10:00 am, the tolling of a bell command silence. On stage, the authorities are all members of the Grand Council of Fascism and commanders of Legions. The Party Secretary, Luca D'Orazio, cries:

THE DUCE

The Duce is the Head of State, living symbol of the National Unity. He is the custodian and the guarantor of the Fascist Ideal. The Duce is elected by the Members of the Grand Council of Fascism with absolute majority vote (50% + 1) and his appointment is for life.

Among the main functions of the Duce we can include:

The power to command the Italian Armed Legions
The power to control the OVRA, the Secret Police
The power to dissolve the Grand Council of Fascism for new elections
The power to revoke the mandate of one or more Members of the Grand Council of Fascism
The power to direct all sessions of the Grand Council of Fascism
The power to legalize all decrees and laws voted by the Grand Council of Fascism

THE GRAND COUNCIL OF FASCISM

In the Fascist State, the Grand Council of Fascism exercises the Legislative Power. It coordinates the activities of Government Departments, it discusses and approves / rejects all laws and decrees. The Members of the Grand Council are elected every 5 years by the Senate of Comrades with an absolute majority vote ( 50% + 1 ). It's composed of 12 Members:

The National Fascist Party Secretary
The President of the Special Tribunal
The OVRA Commander
The MVSN Commander
The C.D of War
The C.D of Foreign Affairs

The Senate of Comrades is the advisory body of the Fascist State. It is convened by the Grand Council once a month. It is composed of 300 Senior Hierarchs of the National Fascist Party, elected every 10 years by all Members of the National Fascist Party.

Among the main functions of the Senate of Comrades we can include:

The power to elect the National Fascist Party Secretary
The power to elect the President of the Special Tribunal
The power to elect the Grand Council Membership
The power to discuss and dictate the political strategies of the National Fascist Party to the Grand Council.
