Hey there! The Confederation of Canada would like to welcome everyone out there to either join or visit our alliance. Our forum can be found HERE.
To simplify, I will break down our alliance into three sections.
GENERAL INFORMATIONThe Confederation of Canada was founded on the principles that recognize the supremacy of equality and the rule of law. We offer everyone equal opportunities, no one receives special advantages. We pride ourselves on diversity, we are NOT just for Canadians, so don't think we'll preach about syrup and hockey all day. Back on topic, we are currently a white sphere oriented team - though we accept applications from any team colour as we respect your decision not to switch over - as this could jeopardize your trades or whatever reason you come up with. Every alliance preaches about having an amazing community, though in a small alliance such as The Confederation of Canada you will find a tightly-knit group that you can jump into easily, everyone is welcome, whatever your views are - we don't care, as our spam section rules state; "You can say what you want, and people will say what they want to you as well. If you're being an idiot, expect some flak." We offer up to $3,000,000 in starter's aid, mentoring for new nations and extensive guides that will boost your nation through the roof, we won't force any tests on you and won't force you to contribute - if you don't want to contribute, well, don't bother asking for any aid down the road, sorry.
POLITICS/GOVERNANCEThe Confederation of Canada is like many other alliances, in fact we contain the obvious legislative portion and our administration. Government positions are almost always available, new jobs can be created through any whim, if you want a job then just ask - we can always find something for you to do. The House of Commons seats five Members of Parliament, two Speakers of the House and the Prime Minister - legislative bills are voted on, boring, I know. Our administration consists of the average four classes; foreign affairs, the state, finance and the military, boring, I know. As with any other alliance we do provide a non-legislative body in which citizens can discuss political issues regarding the alliance or Planet Bob in general, this is known as the Civil Assembly, yet again boring, I know. Chaotic as it may seem, legislative bills pop up all the time, stimulus here (MONEY!), regulation there (eh'...).
MILITARYThe Confederation of Canada... Allows you to do pointless raids, tech or just for fun - but only with permission, and if your target is unaligned or in a small alliance (-5 members). No nuclear strike first, pfft, we don't have nukes anyways - yet... They are buried under the snow somewhere. We will always back up a member of our alliance, well, most of the time - if they're in the wrong, then no, constant unauthorized attacks? They're on their own. If an unauthorized attack is made, we will always take care of the situation within the initial 10 minutes of noticing it, reparations will usually be paid as well. In short, The Confederation of Canada is a peaceful and neutral alliance, we don't mean a single lick of harm to anyone and just want to get along in the world peacefully. Oh, yes, many military jobs are in fact available.
