in all actuality this thread will become a failure because of the intense overload of information. The OP will turn into an intimidating list that looks useful but is actually useless because of information overload.

IMO: A better alternative would be to actually write a summary of the various time periods in CNRP. Kind of like how regular CN did it a while ago. All that really needs to be included is major wars. If you included every time that one of our nations declares existence, changes head of state, or changes its name, the list/history will be unmanageably large. It would be a massive undertaking in which I wouldn't be willing to assist in, so I can't blame you for not doing it.

J Andres will not (actively) participate in this history project for the reason that our history is thoroughly detailed in our wikipedia articles. The possibilities of what you can do with interlinking articles there far exceeds what can be done here on the forums.

Why write the history when it's written in the form of existing threads?

I got some events for ya. Some, in relation to CNRP as we know it today, are ancient. Some of my favorite events. Also the links for all the wars with Nordland and Slavorussia are missing from here because im too lazy to find them. Maybe KM knows where they are. Also again, the naming of some of the events are kind of biased, but oh well.

That's most of the pertinent Norway/ADI information, my other two nations have been Imperialist whiny babies and made laughably idiotic choices, respectively, and hence, made little to no impact besides being invaded.

We could instead have links to the posts in this thread, with titles like "History of Awesome Alaska / History of The Tree Huggers" with the link(s) to the related post in this thread, thereby reducing the text in the first post while still keeping it organised.

EDIT: If so, link to this post with "Diberia's History" as the title. I'll edit later to have my year-long events in this post.

I think once the threads are all compiled, we can accurately depict the history of CNRP. I think that there will be things that will be forgotten if people don't contribute to this thread. There are obviously things that I remember quite vividly, specifically anything related to UFE or Nordland, but I really don't know much about the history of Australia or America, because I've never been involved.

Letting everyone contribute the necessary information to this thread will allow us to write a detailed history of CNRP to the best of our ability, which is a grand reason to have it.

I know. I've participated in more than I've initiated, and most of the RPs I do are diplomacy or character RPs and don't exactly count as major events, like wars.

It doesn't have to be YOUR history you post. Subtle could post some history about Vedran's nation if he wanted. If it's important, I don't care who posts it.

Dare I ask how Yassen's exploits were too "domestic"? He travelled to...3 different nations and racked up a kill count of about 17 people, not including himself. Add that to the nations that replied, I think that counts as an event worth of note. <.<

It was more like a series of events that started with the NE invading Nordland to the collapse of the CSSR. I think people have given you the links for most of those events, so it's all good.

I'm not sure about the date of formation. The wiki says it was created on July 30. The wiki says the charter was made on August 1. A search of Sithis' threads shows that the discussion thread was made August 5, and I can't find the convention thread where it was actually formed so I don't know.

As Sithis got on less frequently, the PAC became more and more inactive, and there was a second and third one made which was pretty much dominated by The Republic. I'm too lazy to go look all those topics up.

Also Drake, the source for the Sahrani thing ending, I got the August 11 date from the last post in the thread, but I believe the conflict itself ended a few days earlier. It's all in the thread so if you want to link to it it'll have to be to an individual post.
